Apart from getting more Skill Points, another effective way of getting the Wanderer more powerful in Dynasty Warriors Origins is through crafting and using Gems. These items provide passive buffs with varying effects.
The buffs you gain depend on the gem that you are using, and this item is something that you will be able to take on and off at any given time depending on the situation. So if you are playing the game on higher difficulty levels you will need to make the most of the feature.
How to craft Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins
You will be able to craft Gems at any inn or tent with the use of Pyroxene. However, you will need to unlock the feature first, which happens automatically as you progress through the main storyline.
Once you have access to it, you will see the option to “Create Gems” when you are in your room. Now you can invest as much Pyroxene as you want to make gems on a one-to-one ratio.
How to level up Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins
There are only five types of gems that you can craft in Dynasty Warriors Origins. Once the base gem is made you can then equip it on the Wanderer through the Battle Preparations menu.
The created gem will be at level 1 and after the first gem of that kind is made, any subsequent gem will give XP towards that base gem. This will let you level up the gem thereby increasing its potency with every tier.
Can you level up specific Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins?
Usually, you will not be able to level a specific base gem that you want. The gem you craft will be of a random type, but if a base already exists then it will turn into XP for it.
However, if you craft a single gem instead of a whole bunch of them at one go, there is a chance that you will activate the “Eyes of the Sacred Bird” effect. When it occurs, the effect will randomly select three gems thereby limiting the gem types that are made with the Pyroxene you possess.
The effect can be canceled out by just backing out when you get the prompt. Moreover, if you are happy with all the XP getting distributed randomly then you can always craft a bunch of gems in one go.
All Gem types in Dynasty Warriors Origins
As mentioned there are a total of five Gem types in Dynasty Warriors Origins. Here is a list of them all along with their passive boost:

How to farm Pyroxene In Dynasty Warriors Origins
You will find Pyroxene on the overworld. It will randomly spawn all over the map and will appear as orange crystals that stick out of the ground. When you interact with them, you will receive one Peroxene nd the crystal will then disappear.
Fortunately, every time you are completing a skirmish or any other mission, some Proxene will respawn at places on the overworld map. So don’t forget to check the spots out after every encounter.
It might seem like a tedious task to have a consistent Peroxene farm going in Dynasty Warriors Origins, but it’s important to invest some time in it if you want to completely beef up your wanderer with the highest level gems.
