However, the biggest highlight of the update is the Alien Invasion itself. When the invasion happens on your server, you will be able to raid the Alien Mothership and get your hands on rare Alien tech, which includes Raygun, Laser Sword, and more.

When does the Alien Invasion happen in 99 Nights in the Forest?
The Alien Invasion will happen on the third day of your run in 99 Nights in the Forest. When it occurs, your server will get the following notification: “Something mysterious is flying above you.”
Following this, you will then hear a crash, followed by zapping noises, which indicate that the aliens have finally landed on the map. Now, when you open the map, you will notice spaceship icons in random locations all around.
These spaceship icons highlight the areas where the alien shuttles have landed, and you can then raid them to get your hands on valuable alien tech. However, each of these shuttles is guarded by two aliens carrying Rayguns.
So, if you are looking to raid them, you will need to prepare for a fight. Make sure you have enough food items as well as ranged weapons to take out the aliens from a distance.
This is because if you go in melee range, you will be susceptible to dying from the Raygun attacks. Each hit from the gun will deplete 10 HP from your character. So you will need to employ a hit-and-run strategy, side-stepping the incoming lasers.
All Alien tech items in 99 Nights in the Forest
Once you raid the Alien shuttles, you will get a chance of obtaining the following rare items in 99 Nights in the Forest:

| Raygun | Deals 10 damage per hit, and while the damage might seem low, the weapon fires very fast, and you can take out enemies from a distance even before they get the chance to close the gap on you. |
| Laser Fence Blueprint | You will be able to use this blueprint to create a Laser Fence around your camp, further boosting your home defenses. |
| Meat? Sandwich | You can use this item to fill out your character’s Hunger meter. |
Note: You can start the game with a Raygun if you pick the Alien race at the start of a run.
How to enter the Alien Mothership in 99 Nights in the Forest
To enter the Alien Mothership in 99 Nights in the Forest, you will need to use one of the Alien Shuttles that are around the map. Only one of the shuttles will be operational, so you will have to raid each of them to find the one that is functional.
When you find the right one, you will find an arrow on its interior hall, which will then ask you to enter a portal. Once in, you will then need to interact with the area, which will then pop up the following option: “Teleport to the Mothership”.
You will now teleport to the Mothership, and once in, your goal will be to reach the central part of the ship, which contains a large chest. To do this, you will need to fight a series of battles till you reach the Alien Elite. Then you will need to take the enemy down, pick up the Alien Elite’s body to show it to the sensor, and open the next door.
Keep repeating this process till you finally reach a room that has a large chest in it. The chest has some of the best most rarest items and equipment in the game.
