Battlefield 6 Could Be Launching With a Flaw That Already Exists in Call of Duty

Battlefield 6 is EA’s highly anticipated title is almost here, and is expected to take Call of Duty head on. However, fans already fear that the game is launching with a major flaw, and that might cause a plethora of problems.

Both Call of Duty and Battlefield 6 are FPS titles, so the gunplay is fairly similar and does have a steep skill curve associated with it.

However, that’s been changing over the years, and it’s become easier for everyone, especially newer players. Although it’s helped the games in terms of player count, some players feel, making things more accessible will eliminate the challenge, making the game bland.

Why Are Battlefield 6 Fans Worried?

For any FPS title, the gunplay that it offers, decides how long it survives in the market. Considering that Battlefield 6 hasn’t released yet, fans don’t have much to worry about, atleast not for now.

However, based on the video clips that different content creators have revealed, it looks like the weapons will offer very little to no recoil. And that is exactly what most players are worried about.

The discussion came up when Call of Duty professional Scump showcased using a weapon from the game on stream. In the video, the weapon, despite being an LMG, beamed at the target. What’s more interesting is that Scump never had to touch the controller to adjust for recoil even once.

Of course, there’s the argument that the weapon in question here is the KTS100 MK87 LMG, which is deadly accurate in real life. So, it’s likely that EA has done an amazing job at replicating how these guns function in reality.

Others have also suggested that the game features weapons which do have a lot of recoil, so EA hasn’t really reduced the skill gap to the extent that everyone needs to worry about it.

Either way, Battlefield 6, with its stunning visuals and environmental destruction, is bound to catch a lot of players, and might just threaten Call of Duty’s player base too.

With that said, everyone is eagerly looking forward to the open betas to get a fair idea of how these weapons handle.
