The Battlefield 6 Open Beta will be offering a variety of game modes that you will be able to take on to unlock some exclusive rewards ahead of the shooter‘s official release. The open beta will be taking place across two weekends.
The first weekend will feature five game modes and seven unlockable rewards and challenges. In weekend two, you will get two additional game modes on top of the existing five, along with three extra challenges and rewards.
Moreover, the first weekend will feature three maps, with a fourth one making its way in during the following weekend.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 1 modes, challenges, and rewards
The Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 1 will be from August 9, 2025, to August 11, 2025.
Available modes
Here are the five modes that will be available during the first BF6 Open beta weekend:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Conquest | This is the classic Battlefield mode, where two teams fight each other to gain control over multiple objectives on the map. Taking over and holding objectives will secure points, and the more points you are able to gain, the faster you will drain your enemy’s health. |
| Breakthrough | Your goal will be to capture or defend areas in various sectors around the map. The attackers will look to push forward to capture the point of interest, while the defenders will try and prevent them from doing so. Each sector will provide two capture points, and you will need to have complete capture over the objective to move on to the next sector. |
| Closed Weapons Breakthrough | It’s a variation of the Breakthrough game mode where you will be weapon and class locked. This will need more strategic depth to win when compared to the base mode. |
| Domination | This is an infantry-focused mode, which is pretty fast-paced and revolves around capturing and holding points of interest. Winning in this mode needs a lot of quick planning and movement. |
| King of the Hill | You will be battling other squads to gain control of a single capture point. The longer you hold the point, the harder it gets to defend it from others. |

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 2 modes, challenges, and rewards
The Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 2 will be from August 14, 2025, to August 18, 2025.
Available modes
Apart from the five existing modes, there are two additional ones that will be making their way i with the fourth map:

| Rush | In Rush, the Attackers will try to plant explosives at M-COM stations, and it’s the goal of the defenders to stop them. Once all M-COMS are destroyed in a sector, you will then move on to the next one. The round is over if the attackers lose all of their lives or if all M-COMs have been destroyed. |
| Squad Deathmatch | A small-scale warfare where four squads will go up against each other to reach the kill count goal. The first team to raeach the count will win. |
Challenges and Rewards
Apart from the seven existing challenges and rewards, three more will be making their way in during th second weekend:

How to Unlock All Battlefield 6 Beta Twitch Drops
Apart from earning the in-game rewards through challenges, you will also be able to unlock exclusive Twitch Drop rewards during the Beta period.
To start, you will need to first link their EA and Twitch accounts here. After that, all you will need to do is start watching Battlefield 6 Twitch streams for a set amount of time to qualify for the rewards
These Twitch Drops will be available during the Early Access portion of the Beta, starting on August 7, 2025, at 1 AM PT, and will remain available till the beta concludes on August 17, 2025, at 1 AM PT.
