Roblox features a ton of games to choose from, and Prospecting is one of the more unique ones out there. Much like Fisch, Prospecting lets players embark on a journey as they dig up precious stones and minerals.
The game also features craftables, of which the Golden Scissors are a rather sought after item. Crafting these Scissors requires the Firefly Stone, and a certain degree of effort.
How to Get the Firefly Stone in Roblox Prospecting
- Search the map for Fireflies. These are easily noticeable thanks to their yellow glow, and roam around in groups while spawning in random locations.
- Pay attention to the zone in which the Fireflies spawn. There should be a circle marked on the ground.
- Use a proper digging tool to dig within the marked circle.
- If you’re lucky, you might find a Firefly Stone here.
Unfortunately, the Firefly Stone has a set chance to spawn. In other words, it is not a guaranteed drop (even if the chances of it appearing are quite high). To bolster your chances of obtaining the Stone, try using Luck or Strength Totems while you dig.
You can craft multiple Golden Scissorts using this method, assuming you have the other two missing materials as well. Keep in mind that Firefly swarms tend to disappear after a while, so try to grab the Stone as soon as you can.
What to Use the Firefly Stone for in Roblox Prospecting
The Firefly Stone is mainly used for crafting the Golden Scissors in Prospecting. To craft a Golden Scissor, combine the Firefly Stone with the Light Shard and Spectry Light. Once crafted, the Scissors can be used to cut through vines that would otherwise block your path.
In particular, these Golden Scissors can be used to cut through three layers of vines to access the Deep Root Spring, a hidden area that consists of new challenges and their corresponding rewards.
