“Ripped my song after” Drake accused of stealing Florida Rapper’s idea

Right after Drake dropped his Iceman album, the rapper was accused of stealing ideas by 1900Rugrat. Rugrat, who is a Florida-based, shared a post on Instagram on May 17, 2026, that Drake ripped off from his song in the Iceman album.

Rugrat claimed that Drake’s producer had reached out to him a year ago for a collaboration, but instead of the collab going through, Rugrat states that “Drake, you got me f**ked up, bruh.”

The rapper goes on to state that he had sent over 10 tracks, and the song that Drake chose from them was the intro tro Rugrat’s Porch 2 the Pent album. Rugrat backs all of this up with alleged screenshots of DMs with Drake.

Rugrat accuses Drake of ripping him off

Drake’s latest Iceman album, which is a part of a trio with Habiti and Made of Honor, has been the center of a lot of controversy ever since its release. Much of the discourse was around the use of Michael Jackson’s gloves on the cover, which many found to be downright disrespectful towards the legacy that the King of Pop left behind.

Now, to make things worse, Rugrat comes out accusing Drake of plagiarising the beat from one of his songs. In the Instagram post, Rugrat states the following:

“Now, the intro still dropped. I said, ‘No, you cannot have this song. He wanted me on his album still. He said I’ma send the verse to you. Never sent the verse. I didn’t give a f**k. Until I just went and listened to Iceman, and I listened to ‘Little Birdie.’ And I went back and listened to the intro on my first album…That’s the only beat I’ve sat there and produced…Don’t rip my sh*t when we pitch it like that, fam. That’s fried out and f**ked up, twin.”

After Rugrat came out with the claim, many in the community called Drake out on social media and suggested that this was not the first time he had done something like this. he has done this with multiple artists, with one of the most recent ones being with XXXTENTACION’s “Look At Me”.
