Runewords are a brand new feature that Blizzard has introduced in the Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred campaign.
A Runeword is made of two separate Runes, one being the Ritual Rune and the other being the Invocation Rune.
So, here’s a list of all the Runewords, and how you can farm as you make your way through Sanctuary as a Spiritborn or one of the five classes that the game has to offer.

That said, here are a few points that you need to know about these Runes in Diablo 4:
- Ritual Runes create an Offering whenever you perform a specific action.
- Invocation Runes use the Offering you’ve generated to release a powerful effect or an ability.
- You’ll be able to use only two Runewords at any given point in Diablo 4, and these effects don’t stack.
Interestingly enough, you can use these Runes to craft Mythic uniques at the Jeweller in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred.

How to farm Runes in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred
To farm Runes, you’ll have to complete the Undercity activity in Kurast. This activity won’t be available to you from the very beginning, so you’ll have to wait till you eventually unlock it during the campaign.
The Undercity is tied to a side quest, that you’ll get from Ormus in the Council Chamber when you finally get there as you progress through the campaign.
