In Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, many players found the Spiritborn class to be locked despite purchasing the different editions of the newest expansion.
This new class is the sixth class that was added to the roster with the new DLC, and players were eager to try it out because it comes with a unique set of skills and abilities.
So, if you cannot access the Spiritborn class in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, here’s what you need to do.
Note: The fix mentioned below is only applicable for those who’ve purchased the Vessel of Hatred expansion. If you haven’t purchased the DLC, you will not have access to the new class.
How to access Spiritborn class in Vessel of Hatred
To access the Spiritborn class, you’ll have to download an add-on of 10.1 MB for the Vessel of Hatred expansion. This should unlock the new class for you.
Since this is mostly affecting players on Xbox, here’s how you can find it:
- Navigate to the Diablo 4 game card, and click on “manage game and add-ons.”
- On the Manage Diablo 4 page, click on the game icon.
- This will take you to a page where you’ll find the 10MB add-on waiting for you to download.
Once you’ve downloaded it, the Spiritborn class should automatically be available to you and you can be on your way exploring the different lands and regions.
In case you’re experiencing a similar problem on other platforms like PC or PlayStation, you might have to download the expansion add-on for the game there too.
Alternatively, you can try selecting a different class, and then going back out to select Spiritborn. This suggestion comes from Adam Fletcher, the community lead on Diablo 4.
