YouTube sensation Darren Jason Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, has brought his trademark high-energy chaos to the IRL America tour. The tour, as per circulating videos, has been full of some unexpected events. While there are many to discuss, his recent stops in Washington, D.C., and Virginia weren’t any exception. It was filled with massive crowd gatherings, mall takeovers, and more.
Here’s what captured the eyes of the crowd and social media most.
IShowSpeed makes a memorable stop at the U.S. Capitol building
When in Washington, D.C., the streamer tour took a political turn as he visited the United States Capitol Building. In the videos can be seen walking the building hallways with Maxwell Frost, Florida Representative. He personally escorted him and discussed some of the key issues he has been focusing on, including student debt and more.
This tour to the Capitol Building was not without Speed’s humor. When he got asked if he was an active voter, he joked, he was from Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo’s homeland. Later, he was also seen giving a speech while addressing the crowd that was gathered for him, chanting IShowMeat, outside the building. He first tried to control the noise, saying, “What the F*ck. Whoa. Hey…we are at the Capitol, we are at the Capitol, right now. It’s not the time.”

Despite all his attempts, the crowd didn’t seem to slow up. They kept chanting IShowmeat. When they didn’t seem to calm up, after discussing with the politician, Speed decided to give a speech. He started saying, “I had a dream. Hey. I had a dream. I had a dream. Hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey, let me say my dream.” While asking the crowd to stop the chant of IShowMeat, he tried adding further to his speech, but got cut out due to the loud rants.
While the Capitol Building speech didn’t work out, as Speed expected, IShowSpeed did get to meet a famous personality lookalike. He met a lookalike of Abraham Lincoln. The pair later visited the Lincoln Memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. It was one of the memorable and the most humorous interactions from the Speed’s tour.
IShowSpeed’s visit to the local Virginia Mall erupted into chaos
The energy of the fans reached a higher level as Speed stopped at Tysons Corner Center, Virginia. Even before Speed entered the crowd, the crowd was seen running right beside his car. A massive crowd of fans also swarmed the area, forcing the security to shut down the building’s sections. The situation further escalated as the police
The situation escalated quickly, with police dispatch audio revealing concerns about the streamer being unable to leave. As reported by the police, there were 100s of fans outside.
Amidst all the chaos, Speed was then seen performing the most explosive and loudest SUI celebration yet. He paid a tribute to Ronaldo, which echoed all throughout the building. The moment was captured on many phones and shared all across social media within hours, sparking some discussions on safety, too.
IShowSpeed IRL America Tour is full of unseen videos and surprises
Beyond the tour stops, Speed revealed an unseen personal moment with the video online. In the unseen footage revealed, his younger brother Jamal was seen getting into a school fight, which erupted as the children were using the IShowMeat meme. It prompted Jamal to defend the name of his brother, leading to a fight.
While the personal revelation was definitely impactful, a prank earlier made Speed almost cry. In North Carolina, Speed got arrested for the unpaid speeding ticket, which, as per the officers, was from Florida. It was full of extradition talks and handcuffs. The tense scenario was later revealed to be an elaborate stunt that was orchestrated by the YouTuber MrBeast. It was designed to add dramatic humor to the Speed Does America livestream of IShowSpeed.
While up till now, the videos from the tour have been full of chaos, unexpected moments, and speeches. With the fans loving Speed so much and his high energy seeming to be at an all-time high, it can be expected that a lot more is coming ahead for sure.
