A recent allegation about Eugenia Cooney’s death has set the internet on fire as her fans and followers have become increasingly curious about her health and wellbeing.

Additionally, a Meta AI snippet also claimed that the streamer had passed away at the age of 30. The snippet claims, “She passed away on July 12, 2025 from acute multi-organ dysfunction, with her family stating that she had been under specialized care for longstanding health conditions.”
Why Did the Eugenia Cooney Death Rumors go Viral?
Apart from the Meta AI snippet, a neighbor claimed that they had seen EMTs outside the YouTuber’s house, while they were walking their dog at night. The EMTs apparently brought someone out in a body bag.
It’s worth noting that her family or friends haven’t confirmed the news of her demise at the time of writing this article. So, the entire thing could be a hoax.
This isn’t the first time a death hoax surrounding her has made an appearance on the internet. In January 2019, a similar incident happened, where she took an extensive break from social media, causing her fans to worry about her well-being.
However, Eugenia Cooney returned to X in February to reassure her fans that she was just taking a short break from social media and that she was in good health.
The incident went so out of hand that the Greenwich Police Department had to come out and confirm that she was doing well. They also asked her fans to respect her privacy at that point in time.
It’s unclear if something similar is happening this time around as well, so it’s best to refrain from spreading rumors about Eugenia Cooney allegedly passing away.
