Curios are powerful accessories that you will get to obtain as you make your way through the various challenges in Black Myth Wukong. These will often improve your offensive and defensive capabilities making it much easier for the Destined One to survive longer against the hardest bosses that the game throws at you.
There are several Curios that you will be able to obtain as you make your way through the action-adventure. While some are easy to locate and are rewarded for just completing a section of the main story, others are tucked away behind exploration and often behind secret areas that are unlocked after certain conditions are met.
Here is a list of all the Curios in Black Myth Wukong and where you can get them.
Every Curio in Black Myth Wukong, their locations, and effects

Every chapter has a set of Curios that you will be able to get in Black Myth Wukong, so we will be dividing our list into chapters:
Chapter 1 Curios:

Agate Jar | Obtained after beating the Black Wind King. Check the container at the terrace after the fight. | Moderately increases defense. |
Boshan Censer | Once you get the Loong Scales in Chapter 2 you will need to fast travel to the Outside the Forest Shrine in Chapter 1. From here take the path to the left till you reach a waterfall located at the very corner of the region. Interact with the waterfall to enter the area with the secret boss and beat it to get the Boshen Censer. | Grants considerable Damage Reduction when Gourd Use is depleted. |

Glazed Reliquary | To get this Curio you will need to first beat the Tiger Vanguard boss and then follow the cliffside path that leads back into the temple. You will now face the Tiger Acolyte boss. Beat them, and make your way past to reach a cave and find the item in a tunnel. | Recover a small amount of stamina when you perform a perfect dodge |
Tiger Tally | Once you have access to the secret area of Chapter 2 you will need to beat the Tiger Vanguard boss to obtain the Curio as a reward. | Upon successful hits with a light attack combo, gain a moderate increase to your attack for a short duration. |
Tridacna Pendant | After you obtain the Loong Scale make your way to Rockrest Flat then turn right and go up the path to reach a waterfall. Use the Loong Scales to interact with the waterfall and enter the area with this hidden boss. Beat it to get the Curio. | Slightly reduces the Cooldown of all Spells. |

Mani Bead | To get this Curio in Black Myth Wukong you will first need to beat the Macaque Chief for the first time. Then head down the path and turn left at the temple. Fine China Tea Bowl | You will find this Curio in the lower area of the Pagoda Realm. You will have to beat a warrior to get it. | Moderately increases stamina recovery rate. |
Frostsprout Twig | The item is a part of the Pagoda Realm side quest which will eventually lead you to Captain Lotus-Vision. You will find the boss’s lair by dropping down the ledges next to the Upper Pagoda. Beating the boss rewards you with the Curio. | Moderately increases chill resistance. |
Maitreya’s Orb | You will find this in a cave after beating the first Non-White boss. The item will be guarded by two enemies. | Land enough successful hits on an enemy to avoid the next fatal blow. |
Gold Spikeplate | Obtained after taking down the giant temple monk who can be found at the left of Longevity Road. | Considerably increases defense Deals damage to surrounding enemies upon taking hits. |
Auspicious Lantern | You must kill all 9 Lantern enemies in the Pagoda Prison Realm before killing the area boss, Captain Wise-Voice. It’s very missable. | Inflicts chants-beguiled effect to the bearer in Cloud Step. Moderately increases Attack, but massively reduces Maximum Health. |
Bronze Buddha Pendant | From the Valley of Ecstasy, Longevity Road shrine go all the way back until you come across a Torii gate. Past it to find the two enemies you need to farm to get this Curio. As it’s a drop, there is a fair bit of RNG involved. | Slightly increases Four Bane Resistance. |
Snow Fox Brush | Reward for completing the Fox questline. | Moderately increases the duration of Transformations |
Beast Buddha | From the Valley of Ecstasy, Towers of Karma shrine, head right to spot an enemy facing a wall that can drop this. Keep farming him until he drops it. Completely random. Another good location is near the New Thunderclap Temple, Temple Entrance shrine. There’s another one of this kind of enemy in front of the temple down the stairs. | Moderately increases Critical Hit Damage. |
Thunderflame Seal | From the New Thunderclap Temple, Temple Entrance shrine head down the stairs and past the dual-blade-wielding enemy. You will eventually leave the temple and spot 4 lighting-casting mages on the staircase. Farm them to get the Thunder Clap Seal Curio in Black Myth Wukong. | Considerably increases Maximum Mana |
Thunderstone | From the New Thunderclap Templ, Temple Entrance shrine head back to where you farmed the lightning-casting monks for the Thunderflame Seal. From here take the left staircase, then turn around it and enter the temple on your left. Spine in the Sack | Obtained after taking out enemies that carry spider sacks. It’s an enemy drop that you get after moving past the Upper Hollow Shrine. | Moderately increases poison damage |
Golden Carp | This Curio is dropped by the Yellow Loong boss which is part of unlocking the true ending in Black Myth Wukong. You will need to beat the 3 Loong Bosses for a start and only then will the Yellow Loong boss spawn near the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine. | Moderately increases the chance of obtaining materials from defeated enemies. |

Tablet of the Three Supremes | As you reach the Temple Entrance shrine you will see a Commander Beetle spirit elite and some monk trainees. Defeat them and then interact with the container located at the altar to get this Curio. | Considerably increases critical hit chance when health is low |
Virtuous Bamboo Engraving | Obtained as a drop from the Snake Guai who can be found just past the Temple Entrance Waypoint. | Slightly increases might recovery rate. |
Tiger Tendon Belt | From the Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination shrine head down the path behind you, and immediately on your left you will find a Snake Sheriff in a pond. Keep farming it to get the Tiger Tendon Belt Curio as a drop. | For a brief moment after seeing through the enemy, considerably increases Attack. |
Celestial Registry Tablet | After unlocking the secret area of Chapter 4 you will need to make your way to a small opening near the Petalfall Hamlet waypoint. You will find a jewelry box there inside a gazebo containing the Curio. | Slightly increases the experience points you gain from defeating enemies. |
Gold Sun Crow | The Gold Sun Crow is also present in the secret area of the chapter. You will need to defeat the Scorpionlord boss and then head past to an open area. Cross the rope bridge there to find the chest containing the Curio. | Slightly increases the damage bonus The effect is enhanced if you also equip the Jade Moon Rabbit. |
Preservation Orb | From the Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination shrine head down the path behind you. Then continue across the courtyard and through the gate. Finally, make your way up the hill heading back to where you fought the boss that you needed to access the Purple Mountain Cloud secret area. As you head past the arena and into the garden you will find a container behind a statue with this Curio. | For a relatively long duration after resurrection, increases Maximum Health, Mana, and Stamina. |

Flame Orb | You will be able to obtain it from a Rusty-Gold Cart. It’s part of a side quest in Chapter 5. | Moderately increases burn resistance. |
Daoist’s Basket of Fire and Water | Obtained as a reward for completing the main goal in the secret area of Chapter 5. | Moderately increases the attack power of all burn-inflicting and chill-inflicting transformations. |

Celestial Birthstone Fragment | You will get this Curio in Black Myth Wukong only after you have unlocked the Somersault Cloud ability. You will need to use it to glide your way past the Gold Armored Rhino boss and reach the eastern corner of the region. You will reach a riverbank and find the Ling-Baw-Baw. It’s a mini-boss, so beat it and obtain the curio as a reward. | Ignores the enemy’s Four Bane resistances (i.e. burn, frost, shock, and poison) |
