The First Descendant is currently in its first season and the character roster has increased to feature 16 different Descendants.
Each of these characters boasts of a unique playstyle, and are tailored to perform well in different scenarios. These Descendants are attuned to different elements and come with different passives.
When you start the game, only three will be available to you, and you will be able to unlock more as you progress further in the game.

Of these 16 Descendants, some have Ultimate variants as well. These Ultimate variants have better base stats than their regular variants, but getting them is a long and tedious grind.
Depending on how you wish to play, you can select your Descendant in the game. Since it features co-op multiplayer as well, you can team up with other players and create some interesting team synergies while participating in the different missions that the game has to offer.
