Fen’haren’s Altars in Dragon Age The Veilguard are the second type of altars, and can be interacted with to collect skill points. Skill points in turn, can be exchanged for new abilities making collecting all 15 Altars all the more enticing.
These Altars are hard to find out though, with many of them being carefully hidden to the usual player.

All Fen’haren Altar locations in Dragon Age The Veilguard
Arlathan Forest
- The first statue can be found inside a tunnel within the Forest, at the tail end of the stream. This glowing statue is located atop a rock on the Shoreside Courtyard.
- The second statue can be found in the Tainted Woods, towards the eastern section of the map. Fire upon the explosive barrels to break down the wall and reveal the statue hidden behind a wall.
- The third statue can be found within the Arlathan Forest, north-west in the region. The statue is located on a platform above, easily accessible using the platforms and ziplines nearby.
Dock Town
- The first Fen’haren Altar in Dock Town can be found in Andraste’s Watch, at the edge of the wooden bridge. Jump down and deal with the ambushing enemies to get to the Altar.
- The second Altar is located at the Spillway area of the region. Head into a chamber near the water to find a power crystal. Bring the crystal back to its receptacle to draw a bridge for you to cross over.
Treviso
The lone Altar in Treviso can be accessed using the Heart and Central beacon at the center of the map. From here, head east to the Dellamorte Estates to find the statue. Keep pushing onward to find the spectral wolf here.
Hossberg Wetlands
- The first Altar will be located in the Flooded Farmlands to your east. Enter the shack to find the statue, and the ornament next to a smaller shack to the fast travel waypoint.
- The second Altar is within the Lost Village, behind a partially destroyed wall.
Rivian Coast
- This Fen’haren Altar is in the starter area of the Rivian Coast, within a stone fortress. You may need to enlist your allies to reach the place for you.
- The second Altar is atop a series of rocky structures within the Rivian Coast, a fair distance from the first Altar.
Crossroads: Converged City
- Once you set foot within the Converged City, head left to the sloping region to find the first Altar.
- The second Altar requires a fair bit of effort to unlock. Firstly, head to the sealed pathway on your right, to activate the ‘Gate of Lost Ages’ quest. Complete the quest to find the Altar hidden behind the ledges at the final quest region. A fair number of enemies will spawn within this quest, so be prepared.
Crossroads: Elvhenan’s Haven
Once you set foot in Elvhenan’s Haven, head to the side of the cliff to find a series of statues. Have the statues point toward each other and create a bridge to cross over, and grab the item.
Crossroads: Heights of Athim
- Arrive at the Heights of Athim to find yet another Altar next to a shack. Use the zipline to reach the item.
- The second and final statue is located at the fortress. Head to the back of the courtyard to grab the item.
