If you are playing as a Soul Reaper in Hollow Era, you will want to know about what the best Shikai are and the abilities that they come with. There is a fair bit of min-maxing that you can do with your character in this Bleach-inspired Roblox game, and most of your late-game will go into how you can build around that Shikai that you are championing.
So if you are curious about which Shikai is the best in Hollow Era, then the guide below will help you out.
Hollow Era Shikai tier list and ranking

Here are all the five Hollow Era Shikai ranked in their respective tiers:
1) S-tier Shikai
Ryuujin Jakka (Legendary: 1% Roll chance)
Move | Effect |
---|---|
Passive | Your abilities will be able to burn targets dealing a good amount of DoT effect on them. |
Z Move | You create flames from your sword then fly forward slashing enemies and burning them in the process. |
X Move | You slash and create a flame burst around you. |
C Move | You lung ahead to impale an enemy with your sword. You then create a burst of fire when the move lands. |
Ultimate | You create pillars of fire around you. Enemies hit by the flames will take burn damage. |
The Ryuujin Jakka Shikai is extremely potent in both PvE and PvP. It comes with a ton of damage, DoT effects, burst, and AoE abilities which will let you breeze through most content in Hollow Era.
2) A-tier Shikai
Ice (Rare: 10% Roll chance)
Move | Effect |
---|---|
Passive | Some of your abilities will have a chance to freeze your enemy. |
Z Move | You create Ice below you and start to skate around the area. Any enemy that comes in contact will be frozen. |
X Move | You create and throw out an ice pillar at your cursor location. |
C Move | You summon an ice dragon which then flies around the arena. It will then crash down at your cursor location dealing massive AoE damage and freezing anyone that is hit. |
Ultimate | You charge energy and then unleash it. You will freeze everything around you in a small AoE. |
The Ice Shikai comes with good mobility and damage in Hollow Era. As it’s capable of freezing every target in the game with its attacks, it’s one of the best Shikai for CC chaining enemies and having an easier time clearing content.
3) B-tier Shikai
Senbonzakura (Rare: 10% Roll chance)
Move | Effect |
---|---|
Passive | Your M1 combos have enhanced effects |
Z Move | Your sword turns into petals and you then send them out sliding through enemies in its path. You then recall the petals dealing another round of damage. The petals can hit enemies multiple times. |
X Move | You create a burst of petals. You then launch the enemy into the air dealing even more damage. |
C Move | You create a tornado of petals and then launch it forward doing massive damage to those it hits. |
Ultimate | You create petals on the ground near where your cursor is. THe petals then fly up spiriting away any enemy hit by it. |
For all the damage that Senbonzakura is capable of doing the Shikai is pretty tricky to master. It does not have a traditional playstyle which is why it’s not very high up in the recommendation list. However, it can be a force to be reckoned with if you invest enough time to master it.
Zangetsu (Common: 60% Roll chance)
Move | Effect |
---|---|
Z Move | You unleash a Getsuga Tenshou shockwave slash in front of you. |
X Move | Another Getsuga Tenshou slash but this time the opponent is dragged with the shockwave sending them upwards and then exploding for even more damage. |
C Move | You dash ahead and slash the enemy. |
Ultimate | You further empower your Getsuga Tenshou and create a massive shockwave slash that deals a significant amount of damage to enemies. |
While a common Shikai, the Zangetsu has good potential which can carry you through the early-to-mid game point. However, it falls off pretty hard later on and it’s ideal that you roll it out for a Rare or Legendary Shikai.
4) C-tier Shikai
Benihime (Uncommon: 29% Roll chance)
Move | Effect |
---|---|
Passive | Your Kido blocks are enhanced and more potent. |
Z Move | You release a slash of energy towards your opponent. |
X Move | You make a net that traps enemies that touch it. The net then explodes dealing a lot of damage. |
C Move | You unleash a 3-slash combo towards where your cursor is placed. |
Ultimate | You fly up and then hurl a barrage of missiles below. Those caught in it receive a massive amount of damage. |
While the Benihime comes with a fair bit of DPS potential, it’s not much fin to use. The Shikai is also not too versatile when it comes to clearing content and can struggle once you reach the end game. It’s generally advised to roll it out as soon as you get it.
