The main objective of a chaser will be to follow the Quaffle which is the ball that you see pliers carrying and then throwing them through hoops. Every time a player passes the Quaffle through one of the rings, they score a goal.

2) Beaters

Beaters, on the other hand, are incredibly aggressive players whose game plan revolves around hitting the Bludgers with a bat. Bludgers are the hardball-like items that you see ricocheting all over the field.

Beaters have two purposes, to protect their Chasers from Bludgers and to target enemy Chasers with the Bludgers in an attempt to knock them off their broom. These are more like defenders who make it difficult for the enemy team to score.

3) Keepers

The Keeper’s role is to be the last line of defense between the enemy Chaser and the three rings. They need to stop the other team from scoring, and they effectively have one of the hardest roles in the game.

They will need to be able to cover all three rings at the same time and at times they might also be targetted by the enemy Beater and a Bludger.

4) Seeker

Seeker is a unique position in Quidditch and the game plan of this role revolves around catching the Golden Snitch. The Snith is a gold bass with silver wings that fly around the pitch at a really high speed.

They are extremely hard to catch but offer 30 points when caught and usually result in a victory for the team who caught it.
