Throne and Liberty has many side quests and objectives players can complete while they attempt to clear through the game’s extensive campaign. These quests can be accessed via the ‘Codex’, which serves as a hub for keeping track of these activities.
Of these, the ‘Keepsakes in the Sand’ quest is of particular interest here – setting players on a path to collect lost emblems of Resistance members who have perished in battle.
Keeping track of these emblems can be quite a headache though, the locations of which (and a general walkthrough of the quest) will be discussed in detail below.
Where to find the Resistance Emblems in Throne and Liberty

- Make your way to Vienta Village. Head east to find the Crematorium (marked on your in-game map).
- Speak with the Crematorium Worker NPC to trigger the quest.
- Dive into the large pit ahead of you. Interact with the corpses to complete this part of the quest – highlighting your next objective.
- Next, you will be given instructions to defeat a total of 10 Desert Cobras. Finding these Cobras can be quite time consuming though, given their low spawn probability. Approximate spawn points will be indicated by a blue circle on your in-game map.
- Once you have defeated 10 Desert Cobras, you will be tasked with collecting a minimum of 3 Resistance Emblems to progress through the mission.
- Consult your mini map and HUD to pinpoint the exact locations of these Emblems. Collect any three of them and head back to Vienta Village.
- Make your way to the Crematorium and speak with the Crematorium Worker once more to conclude the quest.
The Crematorium Worker NPC will be in the same spot that he was before. Hand over the Resistance Emblems over to him and sit through for some short dialogue to wrap up the quest for good.
