There are a total of five Skandha that you will be able to collect as you make your way through the chapters in Black Myth Wukong. They are a core resource that you will be able to use to increase the base attributes like health and stamina once you have obtained all five of them.
However, locating each of the Skandha is easier said than done, as each of them is tucked away in a different chapter, and you will need to complete certain steps to acquire them.

| Chapter 1 | From the Forest of Wolves, Front Hills shrine you will need to head along the path till you reach the wooden bridge. As you enter the forest area, you will find the Skandha in the left corner of the area. Look for a Buddha-face rock. |
| Chapter 2 | You will obtain this Black Myth Wukong Skandha as a drop from the Shindang Boss. However, to unlock the boss you will first need to collect all 6 of the Buddha’s Eyeballs and then head to the Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat shrine. From there make your way left and enter the boss area where you fight the Stone Vanguard. Beat it and then interact with the rock to insert the eyeballs in it. It will spawn the secret boss. Beat it to get the Skandha. |
| Chapter 3 | From the Valley of Ecstasy, Mindfulness Cliff shrine make your way forward till you reach a wooden board. Now drop down to the right side of the wooden boards, and head up the path till you reach a stone head and interact with it to get the Skandha. |
| Chapter 4 | To obtain this Skandha in Black Myth Wukong you will need to head to the Webbed Hollow, The Purifying Spring shrine, and then move forward till you reach a pond on the left. You will find a Buddha head sculpture there that is holding the item. |
| Chapter 6 | You will get the final Skandha as a boss drop from the Giant Shingandang in Chapter 6. However, to spawn the boss, you will first need to have collected the four Skandhas and then use the Somersault Cloud spell to reach the cliffs from the Verdant Path, Foothills shrine. You will need to keep flying past the area where you fight the Son of Stones boss, till you reach the end of the upper area. From here head right to find a narrow canyon entrance. Follow the path to find the boss sitting opposite the waterfall cave where you have to go for story purposes after collecting all 4 mythical armor pieces from the Chapter 6 bosses. After beating the Giant Shigandang, climb onto his arms to collect the final Skandha. |
How to use the five Skandhas in Black Myth Wukong
After you have obtained all five Skandhas, you will need to make your way back to Xu Dog, the NPC that you unlock in the Cellar Shrine of Chapter 2. Talk to him, and you will now get the option to use the items to make the Five Skandhas Pill. Once you have it, you will be able to use the item to permanently raise the Destined One’s health, mana, and stamina.
Its function is similar to that of the Celestial Jade pills and Mind Cores where it helped in increasing the base attributes of your character.
