The weapons list in The First Descendant is huge and each of these guns uses either of the four available ammo types.

The First Descendant is a looter shooter like Destiny 2 and Warframe, which means there are countless weapons to choose from. They are subdivided into Assault Rifles, Submachine Guns, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Scout Rifles, and much more.

While some of effective at dealing great damage from short range, others excel in inflicting damage from a distance. Let’s take a look at every weapon and ammo type in The First Descendant.

All ammo types

The First Descendant has four types of ammo:

General Rounds
Special Rounds
Impact Rounds
High-Power Rounds

General Rounds are the white-colored ammo in the game and the weapons using this type of ammo are Assault Rifles, SMGs, Machine Guns, and Handguns.

Special Rounds are orange-colored ammo and the weapons using it are Beam Rifles and Tactical Rifles. Impact Rounds are colored green and the weapons using it are Scout Rifles and Hand Cannons.

And lastly, High-Power Rounds are the purple-colored ammo in the game. They have the lowest drop rate and the weapons using it include Launchers, Shotguns, and Sniper Rifles.
