With Update 10, tournaments have made their way to Anime Adventures, adding another layer to the game’s exciting combat system. You can now compete with other players and get a ton of rewards like Gems and Trophies based on your performance.
Because tournaments are fairly new in this Roblox experience. it is only natural for players to have doubts about the mode. So, here’s everything to know about Anime Adventures’ tournament mode.
How to access tournaments in Anime Adventures
Right beside the stairs that take you to the Play area, you’ll find the yellow tournament board alongside Zen-O. Interacting with it will let you enter a one-week-long tournament in which brackets are assigned randomly.
Over 45 tournaments have already occurred in Anime Adventures. While many of these competitions shared the same Special Unit reward and featured 20-minute battle sequences, they were conducted in different locations.
Another major difference you’ll notice in tournaments is the modifier combination. The first-ever tournament didn’t have any modifiers, but eventually, elements like Fast Enemies, Enemy Burst, Traits Disabled, Magic Resistant, Max 10 Enemies, Shield Enemies, and Boss Waves were added.
So, while entering a tournament, make sure to check its modifers as they directly impact gameplay.
The modifiers are pretty self-explanatory, though. For instance, Traits Disabled doesn’t let you use traits, Fast Enemies increases the speed at which you’re attacked by opponents, and Enemy Bursts spawns enemies in bursts.
Your rank in tournaments is based on how much damage you can inflict upon enemies in the given period.
