Monster Hunter Wilds is finally out for PC and console, and this fresh take on the Monster Hunter franchise brings with it a few staples from previous entries – such as being able to customize your in-game character.
Wilds’ customization is surprisingly in-depth, resulting in players creating quite a few impressive looking custom characters on the way. However, Wilds also allows players to customize their Palico companions, which makes for an even greater time sink.
A few of the best Palico designs in Monster Hunter Wilds can be found detailed in the sections below.
The best Palico designs in Monster Hunter Wilds
1) Garfield
This particular creation for user u/King2rule resembles the lasagna loving cat who hates Mondays. Garfield is brought to life in Monster Hunter Wilds, right down to his characteristic fur pattern.
2) Octopussy
This particular creation resembles an octopus like creature, with a water helmet containing a cat-like head. It really showcases the depth and wacky levels of customization one can get from Wilds.
3) Pikachu
Resembling Pikachu in a ‘legally distinct’ manner, this particular Palico creation in Monster Hunter Wilds greatly resembles the mascot of the beloved Pokemon series.
4) Midna
Yet another impressive creation from the Monster Hunter Wilds community, this rather overly complex appearance appears to mimic Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The Palico comes equipped with Midna’s distinctive pattern and hair as well.
5) Racoon
This one is dead simple, and resembles a Racoon. The dumpster diving furry creature looks adorable, and fits right in with the game world.
6) Red Panda
Resembling the adorable Red Panda species, this re-creation from user u/Beerbaron1886 looks quite impressive. The user has also added in the list of sliders used to create the Palico for easy reference.
7) Umbreon
This creation seems to ensemble Umbreon from the Pokemon series of video games, and inherits the classic, dark look with yellow stripes.
