How to increase Archetype levels fast in Metaphor ReFantazio
1) Finish fights without receiving damage
One of the best ways of gaining more Archetype EXP will be to complete fights without taking any damage. By triggering “Unscathed Triumphs” you will get bonus experience, so make sure that you are not sustaining any damage to your health bar and you are completing fights within one turn.
Stunning an enemy by hitting them before a Squad Battle can significantly improve your chances of taking them out in one turn.
2) Farm Elmentas
Elmenta’s are rare enemy types that you will encounter in dungeons during a Gauntlet Run. They are pretty difficult to take out because during their turn the Elmenta will escape. However, once you beat them these enemies will grant bonus EXP, MAG, money, as well as items.
To take out an Elmenta, make sure you are exploiting their weakness to maximize your damage on them. Each Elmenta type will have a different weakness based on its color, so make sure that you are starting a Squad Battle after stunning them and then depleting their health bar within one turn.
3) Use Trance Crystals to farm enemies
Trance Crystals are objects unique to dungeons in Metaphor ReFantazio. They constantly summon enemies, and if you fight near them, you will be able to continually keep farming EXP.
So when you encounter one and you need some levels in your Archetypes, don’t immediately destroy the crystal. Keep farming the endless spawn of enemies till you are satisfied and then break it.
4) Activate Archetype EXP items
Items like Hero’s Incense will give your Archetype some bonus EXP. These can be used to level up the Archetype that you have on our character. Moreover, gaining 1000 Archetype EXP will give you a Heroe’s Leaves of Light, which will then help you level up other Archetypes that you will want to study later on for your Followers.
5) Don’t sleep on the Bounty Quests
Recruitment Centers will offer bounty quests that you can complete for a good deal of Archetype experience points. So make sure you pick them up and complete them in the various dungeons by beating the boss in question.
