Season 1 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is all set to launch today, November 14, 2024, and the developers have initiated a preload ahead of time. Season 1 brings with it many updates and changes, including the addition of Warzone to Black Ops 6 – with a preload going live 24 hours ahead of the official launch.

How to preload Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 1

PC
Battle.net
- Select ‘Call of Duty’ from your games list.
- Go to Settings > Modify Install > Content > Modify Install and select the content you wish to preload.
- Hit Confirm and click on the Start Update button to begin preloading.
Steam
- Boot up Steam, and head to your Library.
- Select Call of Duty, and right click on the application to bring up the Properties menu.
- Within the Properties dialog box, head over to the DLC tab and select your Black Ops 6 update files.
- Save and exit the Properties tab, and choose to update the game (if it hasn’t begun downloading already).
Xbox
- Boot up your Xbox console, and fire up the Call of Duty app.
- Head on over to Manage Game & Add-Ons.
- Select the Black Ops 6 install to begin the preload.
PlayStation
- Boot up your PS4/PS5 console and launch Call of Duty.
- On your DualSense/DualShock controller, press the Options button to bring up a menu.
- Head on over to Manage Game Content, and select Black Ops 6.
- Hit Confirm and begin the preload.
