The Diablo 4 base game has an elaborate campaign where you make your way through the Sanctuary and go head to head against the Blessed Mother, Lilith.
Although with the arrival of the new Vessel of Hatred expansion, you’ll get to play a brand-new storyline on PC and consoles, but it’s likely that the post-campaign activities will remain the same.
So, here’s what you can do once you’ve completed the storyline and captured all the strongholds that are currently in the game.
What do you do after finishing the Diablo 4 storyline?
Like many RPG games, Diablo 4 includes various activities you can partake in once you finish the campaign. These activities further allow you to enhance your character and keep enjoying the game. Currently, you can participate in these activities.
Improve your class and build
Diablo 4 is all about killing as many monsters as possible in quick succession, and once you hit endgame, better item drops unlock. So, you can focus on further improving your class build to deal with more damage to the enemy.
Complete Grim Favours for the Tree of Whispers
The Tree of Whispers at Hawezar acts as a bounty board once you complete the main campaign of Diablo 4 and add some much-needed content to let players enjoy their builds.
These bounties appear all over the map with each of these bounties offering upto 5 Whispers. Once you’ve accumulated 10 Whispers, you can collect a Whispering Cache from the Tree of Whispers. Apart from XP, these caches will reward you with Nightmare Sigils, Boss summon materials, and weapons.
Finish collecting Altars of Lilith
Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4 provides bonus stats, which are permanent and improve your farming chances. Chances are you’ve come across them randomly while exploring the world, and with the campaign behind you, maybe it is time to hunt all of them down for additional buffs in Diablo 4.
Take out World Bosses
After you finish the Diablo 4 campaign, the game introduces these large World Bosses. They appear on the map at a given time, and everyone can join the fight. These boss fights are entertaining and an excellent way to farm legendary gears, so consider doing these whenever they pop up on your map.
Complete Nightmare Dungeons
Nightmare Dungeons are the endgame dungeons in Diablo 4, which are extremely hard. This is the actual endgame content of Diablo 4 and rewards you with rarer loot drops and gears.
You unlock them by completing a tier 3 Nightmare Dungeon and unlocking the Nightmare Sigil crafting. Once that is achieved, you can start doing the Nightmare Dungeons and enjoy the endgame of Diablo 4.
