Dynasty Warriors Origins has a neat fast travel feature that you can use to get around the vast World Map. The RPG itself is not open-world, but as you progress through the narrative you will start to unlock more provinces.
After a point, you will receive requests from other in-game NPCs. These side quests and skirmishes will start popping up all over the World Map and in the various provinces that you have unlocked.
So if you are looking to unlock every trophy and 100% the game, you will want to complete each and every one of these requests. This is where the fast travel feature comes in handy. It saves you a lot of time as you backtrack through the World Map.

How to unlock Fast Travel in Dynasty Warriors Origins
To be able to fast travel in Origins, you will first need to unlock Waymarks. This is done by progress through the narrative and discovering more regions and provinces across the World Map. Once you find a Waymark approach it and then holding either the X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox) button to unlock it.
Once it’s accessible it will appears on your Wold Map, allowing you to fast travel to it.
Note: You will not be able to fast travel to Waymarks that you have not unlocked.
Hoow to perform Fast Travel in Dynasty Warriors Origins
Once you have unlocked Waymarks across the World Map in Dynasty Warriors Origins, you will be able to fast travel to them.
You can do this by opening the map which can be performed by either interacting with an unlocked Waymark on the World map or by pausing the game and then using your controller’s shoulder buttons to navigate to the Map menu. If you are using a Dual Sense controller, you will be able to bring up the Map menu by just pressing the touchpad.
Once you are on the Map menu, hover over the unlocked Waymark you want to go it. It will then show you all the key locations or skirmishes that are available in it. You can then click on it to fast travel to it.
If you are looking to try out a specific encounter, you will need to press Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) to bring up info on all the skirmishes that are available. Then by using Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox) you can cycle between the missions.
Click on the encounter you want, and your cursor will directly move to the Waymark that is closest to it. Finally, fast travel to that Waymark to be able to access that particular quest.
