The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally out, and it brings with it an iterative upgrade over the original Nintendo Switch. Additionally, thanks to the power of backward compatibility, it is now possible to play gen 1 Switch titles at higher visual fidelities and frame rates than ever before.
To this extent, Nintendo has released a few ‘enhanced’ versions of Switch 1 ports for the Nintendo Switch 2, the best of which can be found detailed below.

5) Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV
This is perhaps the biggest upgrade of them all. Super Mario party Jamboree + Jamboree TV includes the base Nintendo Switch version of the game, along with a few goodies such as camera and microphone functionality – along with higher resolutions and refresh rates (up to 1440p).
4) Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World
This version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land remains virtually identical to the original Nintendo Switch version of the game, save for the addition of the ‘Star-Crossed World’ – a new story mode with Mouthful Modes.
The port also comes with the usual graphical improvements – along with a frame rate boost.
3) Super Mario Odyssey
A relatively simple port, Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch 2 simply features optimized image and frame rates – along with HDR support.
Odyssey also features GameShare support, along with GameChat as well.
2) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild
The two Switch versions of The Legend of Zelda have received the biggest updates in terms of visual fidelity and frame rate boosts. The Breath of the Wild looks particularly stunning with 60 FPS and HDR support.
Other additions include Voice Memories and support for the Nintendo App, which should detail players with little tidbits about the game’s overall lore.
1) The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom
Tears of The Kingdom also received a major upgrade for the Nintendo Switch 2, running at 60 FPS and greater than 1080p resolutions. Other improvements include HDR support, and the ability to load a second save file.
