Final Fantasy XIV complete Pelupelu Allied Society guide

Pelupelu is the first Allied Society that has made its way to Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail with the recent 7.1 update. However, it’s not something that you will gain access to right away as there are a few steps that you will need to follow to unlock the Allied Society first.

But once you have it unlocked, you will be able to take on daily quests which will help boost your reputation allowing you to climb through the various ranks. The quests also provide a whole lot of EXP which makes the Pelupelu Allied Society missions one of the best for leveling purposes in the MMO.

How to unlock the Pelupelu Allied Society in Final Fantasy XIV

As with all the other Allied Societies in the MMO, you will only be able to unlock Pelupelu after you have completed all the Dawntrail main story missions. This will also include the level 100 quest “Dawntrail”. 

Once you have fulfilled this requisite, you will then be able to make your way to Tuliyollal to talk to the Blue-garbed Pelu (X:13.6, Y:12.9). You will receive the “An Intrepid New Enterprise” quest which is the first Pelupelu Allied Society mission.

This is a level 90 quest so make sure you are trying it out with a job in which you have put in sufficient levels. As for the subsequent daily Society quests, make sure you complete them with a job that you are trying to level. As mentioned earlier, these daily missions are some of the best for leveling because of just how much EXP they provide.

“An Intrepid New Enterprise” Pelupelu Allied Society mission guide

After taking on the mission from the Blue-garbed Pelu, you will need to head to Ok’hanu. Reach the destination (X:20.1, Y:13.4) and wait for some time. It will trigger a cutscene where you interact with Liplu.

Here you agree to take on the role of a special advisor for the Travel Agency. The goal is to talk to three Hanuhanu, who can be found in specific locations, and then advise them on various aspects of the guided tour.

Here is where you will find the three NPCs:

• Genuhanu (X:22.7, Y:14.8) 
• Zelihali (X:20.6, Y:19.7)
• Xenuhanu (X:17.8, Y:19.9)

Once that is done, head back to Liplu in Ok’hanu (X:20.0, Y:13.5). There will be another cutscene in which Dock Poga will finally be revealed. Finally, talking to Liplu again will round out the quest and unlock the Pelupelu Allied Society in Final Fantasy XIV.

Once you have access to the region, make sure to attune with the Aetheryte there. This will make picking up the daily Society missions from Yubli (X:36.8, Y:16.2) much easier.

How does the Pelupelu Allied Society work in Final Fantasy XIV?

When you are completing the Society missions, you will receive 60 reputation with the Pelupelu per quest. Once you have enough reputation you will then gain a new Society rank.

You will usually get to complete a maximum of three quests a day, however, there is an exception to the rule when you level up. Once you gain a new rank you will be allowed to accept an additional three quests on the same day.

So if you time it right, you will get a chance to complete six quests in one day.

The Pelupelu Allied Society quests don’t usually involve any fighting and are a great source of EXP for jobs that you are still leveling. When you rank up with reputation, you will unlock more quests quest types which will then get assigned to you at random every day.

These daily missions will also provide Pelu Pelplumes when completed, which can then be traded with Pavli in Dock Poga (X:37.1, Y:16.1) for a lot of exclusive rewards.

All Pelupelu Allied Society quests in Final Fantasy XIV

The Pelupelu Allied Society missions can be divided into two types, main and daily. Here is a list of all the quests under each category:

1) Pelupelu main quests

The Pelupelu main quests revolve around the story of the Pelupelu and the threats that surround their base at Dock Poga. After completing the initial “An Intrepid New Enterprise” quest you will be able to unlock the following main missions once you gain new reputation ranks:

After reaching Honor you will have successfully rounded out the entire Pelupelu Allied Society storyline.

2) Pelupelu daily quests

Apart from the main missions, you will also be able to pick up three level 90 daily quests every day. Just interact with Yubli in Dock Poga (X:37.0, Y:16.0) each day after the daily reset.

They are pretty simple to complete, will not require much combat, and grants a lot of EXP. Each quest will also reward you with 60 reputation along with one Pelu Pelplume when completed.
