HoYoverse has officially revealed the details for the Genshin Impact 5.6 livestream. Fans can expect a lot of new information, as this patch is shaping up to be an important one.
With two new characters, a possible Archon Quest, and a new weekly boss on the way, here are some of the possible announcements that could be made along with the timings for the Genshin Impact 5.6 livestream.

New characters, weapons, and banners
Escoffier and Ifa will be the new characters introduced in Genshin Impact 5.6. The former is a 5-star Cryo character while the latter is a 4-star Anemo character.
Escoffier’s signature weapon will also be released in this patch alongside weapons of other characters that will have a rerun in this patch.
The order and characters in the first and second half of banner runs are currently unknown. However, this information will be revealed in the livestream.

As with every Genshin livestream, the Version 5.6 livestream will give out three codes. Players can get 300 Primogems along with Mora and Hero’s Wit.

Traveler Archon Quest
According to leaks, and the cover art of the Genshin Impact 5.6 livestream, players could be returning to Mondstadt for the Traveler Archon Quest of the 5.X cycle.
There isn’t any further information regarding the Archon Quest but fans can expect a big announcement regarding this in the livestream.
Events
There will also be plenty of events in the Genshin Impact 5.6 update. Players can earn Primogems, Hero’s Wit, and a Crown of Insight alongside other rewards. The exact amount of events will be announced during the Genshin Impact 5.6 livestream.
The flagship event this time around should give players a chance to get a free weapon, as the previous flagship event in Version 5.5 gave a free copy of Ororon.
New boss fights
A new world boss and weekly boss is rumored to be added in Genshin Impact 5.6. Players will know more about these bosses during the livestream.
According to recent leaks, the weekly boss is likely connected to the aforementioned Archon Quest.
Quality of Life changes
HoYoverse recently announced a few Quality of Life changes that will become effective in Version 5.6.
Some of the highlights include improvements to the Treasure Compass gadget, mass removal of map pins, and the ability to restart the final stage of the Imaginarium Theater.
