Grow A Garden Chicken Zombie and Zombified mutation guide

The Blood Moon event and the Chicken Zombie update are now live in Grow A Garden, and you will be able to get your hands on the Zombified Mutation for your crops. The mutation provides a sell price multiplier for the fruit that is affected, allowing you to get a pretty good profit from it.

However, to get the new mutation, you will need to get the Chicken Zombie first, so if you are looking to make the most of it, then the guide below will help you out.

How to get a Chicken Zombie in Grow A Garden

The Chicken Zombie is a free pet that you will be able to get your hands on at any given time in Grow A Garden. As it’s a part of the latest Blood Moon event update, all you will need to do is start the game, then a cutscene will play where a zombie jumps on top of a Chicken pet.

The chicken then runs around and accidentally hits the Wise Owl. This then angers the Owl and turns the Chicken into a Chicken Zombie pet.

Now that you have the Chichek Zombie, you can place it anywhere in your garden to give your crops the Zombified Mutation.

Fortunately, you can increase the chances of the mutation by allowing the pet to gain more XP. You can do this by feeding it and satiating its hunger bar with mutated fruits.

Apart from giving the Zombified mutation, the Chicken Zombie also increases the Egg hatch speed by 10.14%.
