Grow a Garden Kitsune Pet guide

The Kitsune is currently one of the most sought-after prismatic pets in Grow A Garden. It had made its way to the Roblox game with the Zen update, and its design was inspired by the Japanese folklore of the nine-tailed fox.

It’s one of the rare pets that any collector will want to have in their garden, and to top things off, the Kitsune also comes with a special trait that provides the Chakra Mutation.

So if you are looking to make the most of this pet in your garden and the mutation it comes with, then the guide below will help you out.

How to get the Kitsune pet in Grow A Garden

The Kitsune is the first prismatic-tier pet in Grow A Garden, which can only be obtained from Zen Eggs when the limited-time Zen Event goes live. However, the pet is not a guaranteed drop from the egg, as you will only have a 0.08% chance of hatching it, making it an extremely rare collectible to have for your garden.

Fortunately, you can increase the odds a bit with the Premium bundles; however, the RnG on that is still going to be pretty low.

To be able to get your hands on a Zen Egg in Grow A Garden, here are a couple of things that you can do:

  • One way of getting Zen Eggs is to exchange Tranquil mutation fruits for Chi Points and then use 30 Chi to buy one Zen Egg from the Zen Shop.
  • The next way of getting the Zen Egg is to obtain it as a reward for each time that you level up the Zen Tree.
  • The final way of getting a Zen Egg will be to directly purchase it with Robux. Every Egg will go for 149 Robux, or you can just buy a bundle of 10 eggs for 1,269 Robux.

Kitsune Trait Skills and Exclusive Mutations in Grow A Garden

Although it has one of the rarest drop rates, the Kitsune is amazing when it comes to its traits. Every 22 Minutes, it goes to another player’s fruit, mutates it with Chakra and steals (duplicates) and gives it to the player. It also has a very rare chance to mutate into Foxfire Chakra instead.

While a 5x multiplier may not be the highest in the game, the frequency at which you will get the mutation is great, and the mutation’s visual effect is also something that is very attractive.

Is the Kitsune pet worth it in Grow A Garden?

From an aesthetic point of view, the Kitsune and the Chakra Mutation fruits very looks, makes the pet worth all the hassle. The Kitsune has one of the more unique appeals out of all the pets in the game, and the Chakra mutation fruits also have their charm.

However, if you are looking for pure profit farming, then the Kitsune is not something that you should be looking to target farm. 5x Multiplier on the Chakra Mutation is not much, especially when you have pets that can give out Rainbow mutations.
