A new kind of collectible has been added to GTA 5 Online as of today, January 23, 2025 – part of the Lunar New Year celebrations update. Players will be tasked with collecting Yuanbao, which in turn can be exchanged for items such as cash and RPs in addition to numerous other bonuses in the game.

As of the time of writing this article, there are a total of 36 such Yuanbaos available:

You can accumulate the following rewards from collecting all 36 Yuanbaos:
- $31,968 ($888 per Yuanbao)
- 31,968 RP (888 per Yuanbao)
- Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit (cumulative reward)
Be on the lookout for a cymbal-esque sound effect, which should indicate that the item is nearby. Locate and stand near the Yuanbao, making sure to press the button as prompted to ultimately collect it.
