If you are someone who loves a cozy-vibe adventurous RPG game, you couldn’t have missed Fantasy Life I. This game is perfect for you if you just want a relaxing and story based game experience. This game lets you choose between 14 different lives of 3 classes – Combat Lives, Crafting Lives and Gathering Lives.
In the game, you might come across a point where you will be stuck forever thinking what to do and that point is the noss battle. These are main and post story bosses that eventually every player has to encounter regardless of their chosen lives.
First, it’s important to gather Fantasy Life I Dosh which is the in-game currency to buy yourselves the required crafting materials and equipment before the battle. You don’t want to dive into the boss battles without any preparations as they are not your regular creeps or NPCs.
There are mainly seven bosses in the Story – five in the main story and two after you’ve completed the storylines. Each boss holds a milestone in the story’s progression which will introduce you to new skill masteries and combat skills.
Main story bosses and how to defeat them
In the main story, you will face a total of 5 bosses. Here is how you can defeat them all.
Bandit Captain
The Level of this Boss lies around 5-10 and is the firstmost hero you will encounter in the game. You will find him in the Bandit Camp (in the East grassy plains). It will introduce you to your first real combat environment that requires high tactic skills such as timings and counters.
To defeat this boss, you will need to clear the little bandit minions first. Focus on the Captain’s combo and try to evade those while hitting with a good counter. This boss trains you for future battles.
Glenn
This is the First big boss you will need to fight. It appears during Chapter 6 in the Northwest Island and you might want to level up past Level 45 before clashing swords. It has an emotional impact on the story and tests your skills.
Keep your distance from his combo and fast paced attacks. This time you need the mastery to time your attacks precisely. Don’t forget to bring item boosts to sustain longer.
Frajeel
Frajeel is a Level 50 boss. Just like Glenn, you will find this boss during Chapter 6 of the Main Storyline in the place called Island of Trials in a Colosseum. He is also a crucial antagonist of your story.
He uses dark spells to summon minions and cast high AOE-based skills. Try to attack during his spell casting and clear his minions as fast as possible. Bring some defense and a buddy with yourself. Try to apply Paralysis on him and use your allies to distract him to create an opening to strike him.
Guardian Hagram
Hagram is a level 50 boss, also appearing in the 6th chapter. This will be the final Guardian before facing the final boss of the story.
Most of his attacks are limited to the front, so make your buddy or party a decoy and surround him from the back to dish out damage on the boss. Prepare with high-defense equipment to have a smoother play. Stand behind the boss and keep inflicting spam attacks to hit him with a barrage of damages. Use your allies to divert its attention to help you attack freely.
Dark Dragon
Dark Dragon is of Level 60 who is the final boss of the main story found in the Final Island. He is also one of the hardest to defeat. This is the point where you should buy Fantasy Life I Dosh to get more powerful gears and equipment.
You can bring along Laura to counter the dark attributes of the Dark dragon. To defeat him, you need a perfect balance of dodge and attack. Evade his flamethrower and tail swipes and during his heated phase, stay calm and concentrate on staying alive without taking any damage.
Primary post story boss
Once you finish the main story, you will reach the post-story section of the game where you will face more bosses. Out of which, these two are the primary ones.
Eternia Woolie
This is the First post-story boss you will encounter during Chapter 7. You will find him in the Cave of Trials area. It is much easier to deal with as all you have to do is dodge and attack. Keep your movements slick and don’t get in front of him. Bring along some stamina potions and keep moving and strike after landing. Also to deflect his Chaos lasers use Chaos resistant gears.
Gear-Xernes
This is the last boss of Chapter 7 where you will need to prove your potential and combat skills. This is a high-level boss who will be 60. Paladins are recommended to deal damage to the boss during its Rotating laser beam attack. Be sure to keep your distance during his rotating attack and strike the core while it is in the overheat vents.
Conclusion
This boss plays a major role in the game while teaching you the important aspects of the game. Facing them and defeating them will unlock the next chapters of the storyline and keep you emotionally engaged. Level of those gears, bring your friends and enjoy the journey.
