How to change your character’s appearance in Dragon Age The Veilguard

While you will get to create your character when starting your journey with the main questline in Dragon Age The Veilguard, you might want to change Rook’s appearance again giving them a fresh new look. Fortunately, you are not stuck with the appearance that you make at the start, and the RPG will let you change Rooks’s appearance as many times as you want.

However, you will not be able to tinker with character customization right off the bat. The feature will not be available to you at the start and you will need to progress a bit in the story to unlock a mirror.

Here is a guide that goes over everything you need to know about changing character appearance in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

Mirror of Transformation guide: Changing character appearance in Dragon Age The Veilguard

Mirror of Transformation Dragon Age The Veilguard

To change your character appearance after the initial character creation process you will need to interact with the Mirror of Transformation in Dragon Age The Veilguard. The point of interest is located in the Lighthouse, and to unlock you will need to first complete the “End of the Beginning” quest.

The mission is a part of the main storyline where you will need to locate Solas and stop his ritual. Once the quest is done, you will then be transported to the Lighthouse which is the base of operations for your party.

Now speak to Varric and make your way to the corner room of the Lighthouse. You will find the Mirror of Transformation there. Interact with it and you will be transported to an Appearance menu (very similar to the character creation screen) where you will be able to change Rook’s appearance.
