How to beat:

  • Make your way to Tradia Desert and then beat the wild dogs that are marked on the map. Once you have hunted a specific number of them the bounty boss will spawn.
  • The Maneater Manjula deals Pierce damage primarily. So do not have party members on the active roster that are weak to it.
  • Make sure you exploit its Ice weakness to whittle down its health and always keep your HP topped up. The boss will often go for pierce attacks which can be critical and can instantly kill low HP members.

How to complete The New King of the Imps bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio

Goborn King Metaphor ReFantazio

Goborn King, Forest Champion3You will be able to accept this bounty during your second day in MartiraNoneImp’s Den (Unlocked after the Bounty is accepted)-Sentinel’s Talisman (boss drop)

-Scrapmetal Slab (boss drop)

-16,000 reeve

-Courage increase

Weakness:

  • None

Resistance:

  • None

How to beat:

  • You will be able to lure out Goborn King, Forest Champion after beating all of the black-clothed Goborns in the area. The boss does not have any weakness, however, his health is pretty low, and with the right party setup, you will be able to complete the encounter without much hassle.
  • One trick you can exploit is to keep at least one of the boss’ allies alive throughout the fight. This is because if you wipe out all of his party members, Gobron King will activate King’s Rage, which is not something you will want to deal with.
  • So make sure you keep the standard grunt alive (the one that does the least amount of damage). This will make the encounter significantly more manageable.
  • The boss comes with a lot of hard-hitting multi-strike attacks as well, so you should stick to the back row for most of the fight. This will significantly improve your survivability.

Note: Goborns go into a frenzy if they see magic-based Archetypes, like the Mage, Healer, and Summoner lineages.

How to beat:

  • You will find the boss after reaching the deepest part of the dungeon. There will be two worms that you will need to take out on your turn because if you slay just one, the other will summon another worm during its turn.
  • The best way to deal with this enemy is to take both worms to very low HP and then finish them off in one turn. If you fail to do so, then you will be stuck in an endless battle.
  • The worms also inflict burn, so make sure to bring curatives and have party members who can exploit its Ice weakness.

How to beat:

  • The boss will summon a Chimenza on its first turn. You will need to take this summon down first as the ally will be able to heal Fatolich completely negating the amount of damage that you have done to it.
  • The Chimenza or Chimera is weak to Wind so exploit that weakness and keep hitting the bounty boss with Light attacks.
  • Make sure that you do not have party members who are weak to dark. Fatolich has a few dark abilities up its sleeve and can instakill a party member that is weak to it with a Mudo.

-Courage increase

Weakness:

  • Pierce
  • Wind

How to beat:

  • The Psyocropos will be accompanied by some Goborn mages when you start the encounter. And like with The New King of the Imps bounty, the boss will become enraged if you take out all the Goborn Mages.
  • So make sure to keep at least one of them alive and try casting a forgive on them to stop them from using elemental magic. Once you have made the mages useless, focus your entire damage on the boss. It’s weak to Pierce and Wind, so make sure to exploit those weaknesses as much as possible.
  • Moreover, do bring a lot of healing effects and abilities to the fight. The Psyocropos hits like a truck and it’s important to keep your party topped off.

Note: Goborns go into a frenzy if they see magic-based Archetypes, like the Mage, Healer, and Summoner lineages.

How to beat:

  • You will be able to summon the Icebeast after beating the ice worms which are marked on the map. The boss will be accompanied by a soldier and your goal will be to take him down first as the ally will often cast a magic-negating shield on the Icebeast.
  • The soldier is weak to strike attacks, so make sure to exploit it as you keep whittling down the boss’ HP with Fire abilities.
  • Moreover, make sure to have some curatives and healing abilities in your party. The boss has single-target and AoE ice attacks which can wipe out your party if you do not have their HP topped off.
  • Have some good physical attack allies in the party as well if you are having trouble getting past the magic barrier.

TargetRankHow to obtainDeadlineLocationReward
Ordemos, Grudge’s Fang7Can accept the quest after 9/26.NoneAbandoned Path (Will be unlocked after you have accepted the bounty)-75,000 reeve

-Courage increase

Weakness:

  • Dark

Resistance:

  • All physical damage

Immunity:

  • Electric

How to beat:

  • You will make Ordemos spawn after you have defeated four giant snakes. He will start the encounter with a War Cry which will signficantly decrease the Attakc and Defence of all party members. So make sure to have skills in your party which can deal this debuff.
  • As the boss comes with resistance to Physical attacks and immunity to elec, you will need to bombard him with other forms of elemental damage. He is weak to Dark, so make sure that you have atleast one party member who can exploit this weakness.
  • Ordemos comes with a charge ability as well. So when you see him charging up make sure to put everyone on the back row to guard and significantly decrease the damage you receive.
  • When you bring him to around 30% HP. He will use an ability which will increase his attack by a lot but will have reduced defenses. So if you are close to killing him, make sure to hit him with you your best attacks.

How to complete The Cockatrice in the Clouds bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio

Kokamordos bounty Metaphor ReFantazio
TargetRankHow to obtainDeadlineLocationReward
Kokamordos, Terror of the Skies8Can accept the quest after 9/26.NoneManor of the Ascendant (Will be unlocked after you have accepted the bounty)-105,000 reeve

-Courage increase

Weakness:

  • Pierce
  • Ice

Resistance:

  • Wind Damage

How to beat:

  • The Kokamordus is a pretty difficult bounty to complete in Metaphor ReFantazio. This is because the boss is capable of instantly one-shotting your team after it “takes aim.” So you will need to have buffed defenses on your Followers and the protagonist.
  • Apart from this, the fight is rather straight forward and it’s a battle of attrition that you will have to win out on. So while dealing damage, make sure to have good defensive skills and healing abilities in our party.
  • Moreover, make sure to avoid having any party members who are weak to Dark. The boss can at times hit your entire party with a Dark ability, so don’t allow the Kokamordos to exploit it.

How to complete The Apostles of the Apocalypse bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio

Bandit Chief Cistus bounty Metaphor ReFantazio
TargetRankHow to obtainDeadlineLocationReward
Bandit Chief Cistus, Fervent Zealot8.5Can accept the quest after 9/26.NoneDisgraced Ruins (Will be unlocked after you have accepted the bounty)-Golden Armour (boss drop)

-115,000 reeve

-Courage increase

Weakness:

  • Chief is weak to Light
  • Fighter Bandit is weak to Fire and Ice
  • Thief Bandit is weak to Pierce and Strike
  • Homo Sondro is weak to Strike

Resistance:

  • Thief Bandit resists Electric, Wind, and Dark
  • Fighter Bandit resists Slash, Pierce, Strike, and Dark.
  • Homo Sondro resists Light

Repels:

  • Homo Sondro repels Slash, Pierce, and Electric

How to beat:

  • This bounty encounter has two phases in Metaphor ReFantazio. You will first be going up against a Chief, a Fighter, and a Thief Bandit. As long as you are exploiting their weakness, you will be able to quickly and easily beat all of them.
  • Once the bandits are down, you will then be facing off against Homo Sondro in Phase 2, which will prove to be significantly more challenging than the trio. The boss will usually deal heavy strike damage and has abilities up his sleeves that can buff the amount of damage that he deals to the party.
  • So make sure to improve your party’s overall defense and keep their HP topped up at all times so that your line-up does not instantly get one-shotted. Moreover, make sure to exploit his Strike weakness and one of the best ways of doing that will be to have strike abilities that hit multiple times.
