The Berkanan Sap is one of the older resources that was introduced in Final Fantasy XIV with the Endwalker update. It was initially used as a crafting material for recipes below level 90, however, after the recent updates it’s now one of the key ingredients in making Cherimoya Juice in the MMO.

Here are some of the best ways of acquiring Berkanan Sap in Final Fantasy XIV:
1) Farming the Berkanan
A straightforward method of getting the sap is to acquire it from its source by defeating the Berkanan. These are Leafkin enemies that you will come across in Labyrinthos, to get there you will need to head to the Sharlayan Hamlet Aetheryte and then go southeast.
They are giant trees that will attack you, and once you have taken them out you will have a high chance of getting the Berkanan Sap as a drop.
Berkanan in Labyrinthos is level 88, so to have an easier time dealing with them you will need to have a Job at level 100.
2) Get the Sap from Bicolor gemstones
An alternate way of getting the Berkanan Sap will be to head to the Archeion Aetheryte and find the Gemstone Trader, Faezbroes. He will be located at the “X:29.9, Y:12.9” coordinates and you can interact with him to buy the Sap for 2 Bicolor Gemstones each.
However, he is not the only one who sells it, you will also obtain the item from Gadfrid in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7, Y:10.4) and Sajareen in Radz-at-Han (X:11.1, Y:10.2). Just make sure that you have completed all of your Endwalker Shared FATEs.
3) By sending Retainers to Hunting Ventures
Retainers will often come back with Berkanan Saps after they have been deployed for level 88 (and above) Hunting Ventures. Especially characters who have the Botanist class will have a higher chance of bringing the resource back.
However, make sure they are going for Fiend Exploration ventures that are of Level 85 and Level 90. Their Job levels have a direct effect on their chances of bringing the sap so do keep that in mind.

1) Making Hyper-potions
Berkanan Sap is one of the main ingredients for making Hyper-potions in the MMO. When used, the item restores 20% of your max HP (25% if the potion is high quality) and is one of the more reliable support items.

2) Completing Mon Cherimoya quest
The Sap’s next best use is to complete the Mon Cherimoya quest. It’s a level 9 mission that you get by making your way through Xeerol Ja’s Juicecraft as an Alchemist or Culinarian. You will need the following items to complete the quest:
