99 Nights in the Forest recently had its Frog Invasion update, which brought with it a ton of new changes and additions. One of these was the ‘Forest Frog Key’, a special key which can be used to access the Frog King’s chambers.

How to Get The Frog Key in 99 Nights in the Forest
In a nutshell, try searching for Frog Keys within Ponds. These usually spawn after players spend a total of 3 in-game days within the Forest, which will in turn be marked by a message that reads ‘Something is emerging from the ponds’.
Once you receive the message, head on over to a suitable pond. Do make sure to look out for the Croaking Creatures – a hostile NPC which will attack players and inflict additional poison damage on them.
Use ranged weaponry such as Rifles to take them out from a distance, and potentially avoid being outnumbered. Once the pond is clear of enemies, use a Fishing Rod to reel in the Keys, and store them in your Sack.
Alternatively, you can also try your luck at grabbing the key from the corpse of a defeated Giant Frog, although the chances of this occurring are quite slim.
How to Use The Frog Key in 99 Nights in the Forest
The Frog Key(s) can be used to access the Frog King’s secret chambers. To do so, you will require exactly 8 such Keys, which will take a bit of time.
With the keys in your Sack, browse the Ponds until you find one with a giant whirlpool at its center. Once located, jump into the whirlpool and you should be immediately teleported to a hidden area, with a giant green door.
Next, slot in all 8 keys (in each keyhole) and wait for the door to open. You should now be ambushed by multiple Frogs. Defeat them all to summon the Frog King, a rather challenging boss with two phases.
The first phase is relatively straightforward, although offset by the Frog King’s massive HP pool. Once his HP drops to zero, he will split into two – which initiates the second half of the fight. As always, make sure to carry enough resources and weapons to the battle.
Defeat the Frog King to unlock the Poison Armor from the treasure chest in the same room, along with the Beastmaster Badge.
