How to pickpocket in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
To pick the pockets of the townsfolks all you will need to do is to crouch downa nd then interact with the vitim’s belts. You will then geta prompt that says “Rob” in the bottom right corner of the screen (this pops up when you are in the right position).
If you press the “Rob” button, Henry will start to a two phase pickpocket minigame that you will need to successfully complete to rob the person.
- Hold down the rob button to start a timer which will show the amount of time you have left to pickpocket the person.
- The longer you will hold down the button the more items will you be abel to steal, however, the risk of you getting caught also increases.
- Once you leave the rob button, a radial dial appears which shows the victim’s inventory. Here your task will be identify the items and then pick the one you want to steal.
- However, with every steal the time to pick pocket the person will go down. So to start off begin with their most valuable posessions.
- The long you take a pickpocket someone, the easier will it be for them to cathch you.
Note: You can also pickpocket NPCs who are asleep. But do keep in mind that no matter whom you are pickpocketing you will need to stay hidden or unnoticed throughout the entire process.
How to get and use lockpicks in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Lockpicks are a pretty rare item in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Yo will usually get to purchase them from merchants along the road or dealers who live in the shadier parts of town. Lockpicks can sometimes be obtained by knocking down bir’s nest as well after you loot them.
You can knock down a bird’s nest by crouching and then throwing a rock by pressing G/RB/R1.
Now once you have a lockpick you can put it to good use by opening loocked doors and chests in the game. To lock pick you will need to:
- Hold and move the cursor (or joystick) around to find the lock’s sweet spot (the cursor will turn gold).
- Once you find the sweet spot press and hold D/LT/L2 and then turn the lock with the D/Left Stick.
- The sweet spot will rotate with the rotating lock so make sure to move the cursor accordingly to try and keep it at the spot.
Lockpicking and Pickpocketing will take a fair amount of practice to master in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, however, it gets easier the higher Henry’s Thievery skill level is.
