The Battlefield 6 preload begins on October 3, 2025 at around 8 AM Pacific Time (PT). This translates to the following few regional timings:

How to Preload Battlefield 6 on All Platforms

The preload process for each platform is a bit different. You can find the instructions listed below.
PlayStation 5
- Fire up your PS5 and head to the PlayStation Store.
- Search and make your way to the Battlefield 6 store page.
- Assuming you have already completed your pre-order, hit the Download button when the preload goes live and wait for the files to download.
Xbox Series X/S
- Fire up your Xbox and head on over to the Xbox Store.
- Bring up the Battlefield 6 store page.
- Assuming you have already purchased the game, there should be a button to enable the download. Hit the button, and wait for the preload to finish downloading.
PC
PC has a ton of different versions to deal with, which makes it a bit inconvenient thanks to the overarching freedom of choice. That being said, the general process remains the same, save for a few terminology changes.
Here’s the general overview and walkthrough:
- Launch Steam, EGS (Epic Games Store) or the EA PC app and head to the Store page.
- Search for Battlefield 6, and head on over to its store page.
- Purchase the game if you haven’t already, and hit the corresponding preload button.
Wait for the preload to finish, and the game to eventually unlock on October 10, 2025.
