How to use a Cursor on Console in Throne and Liberty

Navigating the various in-game menus in Throne and Liberty can be troublesome for those who are enjoying the gem on a console. Directional controls don’t work optimally when it comes to the menu section of the MMO, especially when navigating the Battle Pass, you will find it very difficult to go through the rewards with the directional keys of a controller.

Fortunately, Throne and Liberty comes with an Emergency Cursor mode that you will be able to use to have an easier time accessing the menu. Here is a guide on how you will be able to activate and use the mechanic.

Character customization Throne and Liberty

To activate the Emergency Cursor Mode in Throne and Liberty you will need to just hold down the left joystick for three seconds. This works for both Xbox and PlayStation users and after three seconds a cursor will spawn on the screen.

You can then use the same joystick again to move the cursor around and navigate the menu. You can press X on the PlayStation or A on the Xbox to select the item that you are hovering over.

The Emergency Cursor Mode can feel slow to use at first, however, it makes navigating the menu much easier when compared to using the directional buttons.

Moreover, the mode is not something that you will be able to turn on permanently. It only activates when you press the stick down on a menu and it’s only going to be active as long as you are on that menu.

Moving to another menu will force you to activate it again, so if you are relying on it a lot you will need to keep pressing the left joystick down for three seconds.

The Emergency Cursor Mode comes in especially handy when you are trying to change your character’s appearance at the Mirror Boutique menu.
