Like most RPGs, Path of Exile 2 requires the use of Mana in order to cast ability spells. As such, Mana can be quite a hard resource to manage especially in the early game. Thankfully, the game does regenerate Mana over time, albeit at a very slow rate.

Increasing maximum Mana in Path of Exile 2
As your total Mana is directly affected by the Intelligence points you possess, it is recommended to invest into this particular trait first. Each point you spend on Intelligence will net you 2 points of Mana.
As such, investing in Intelligence is crucial for spell focused classes that use a ton of Magic.
There also exist alternative ways to boost your maximum Mana, by means of passive skills – which can sometimes even double your Mana capacity.
Finally, there exist gears that offer Intelligence and/or Mana bonuses when equipped. Make sure to comb for gear, and try rerolling stats to grab the desired Mana bonus substat in the process.
Boosting Mana regeneration in Path of Exile 2
Raising your Intelligence and equipping gears can only get you so far in boosting your Mana tanks. You will ultimately have to wait until it regenerates – which can take quite a while by default.
Mana regenerates every second out of combat, so make sure to utilize this to your advantage. Additionally, you can also either equip specific gear (which possesses a recovery boost for Mana, such as seen in Wands) or use certain passive skills instead.
It is also possible to use Support Gems to provide a temporary boost in Mana recovery rates, although it is not always a reliable solution.
