The Playcaller is a skill that is exclusive to the Keeper position in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions. It’s one of the harder positions to play in the game not only because you will need to defend three rings at the same time, but also use this ability to buff your team.
While this skill makes the Keeper the best support and playmakers on the squad, it’s hard to master this position if you don’t have a clear understanding of the Playcaller skill.
It’s also worth noting that there’s an achievement with the same name, but that does not have anything to do with this skill. That said, here is a guide on everything you need to know about the Keeper-exclusive skill in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions.
How to use the Playcaller skill in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions
To use the Keeper’s Playcaller skill in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions you will need to press triangle on PS5, Y on the Xbox controller, and E on mouse and keyboard. It has a cooldown period and you will only be able to use it when the cooldown period is over.
Once you use it, the Keeper’s point-of-view will expand all over the field and you will be able to place a total of four Playcaller rings all over the pitch. You can place the rings by pressing R2 on PS, RT on Xbox, and left-mouse click on PC.

You will also be able to steer them further by using the right analog stick or mouse. This mechanic is the same as playing as a Chaser in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions.
The rings will provide a speed boost to your teammates once they fly through it. This is especially useful if they are flying towards the enemy rings with the Quaffle or if they need to head back to help their Keeper defend.
The best way of using the Keeper’s Playcaller will be to space the rings in such a way that they are strategically placed for their teammates to get around faster.
Mastering the skill will take a fair bit of practice, so experiment with the ring positions in every match and find your ideal strategy.
