Pros:

• Top/Mid: Teemo is a lane bully especially if he is against a melee champion. You can use him to constantly poke the enemy out, making them base and lose CS and XP. His shroom set-ups also keep him safe from ganks post-level 6. The additional information he gets from them can help you decide if you want to play aggressively and push the lane, or farm under the tower.
• Jungle: Irrespective of the build that you are going for, Teemo can turn out to be a very strong jungler. Once he starts getting a few items under his belt, his camp clear speed becomes exceptional. His shrooms also make it difficult for the enemy team to sneak past a neutral objective.
• Support: With the new AP item changes Teemo has become one of the best Support champions in League of Legends. The best Teemo build for the role allows him to make the most of Liandry’s and Stormsurge. This makes his shoorms hit like a truck in the later stages of the game. 

Cons:

• Top/Mid: Teemo does not do well against every match-up. He struggles especially against champions that can instantly close the gap on him, or if they come with a fair amount of point-and-click CC. His squishy nature makes him quite easy to gank early on, especially when he has yet to hit level 6.
• Jungle:  As he is not a traditional Jungler, Teemo doesn’t exactly do well clearing his camps. Hence, it’s quite easy to counter-jungle him and make him fall behind early on. How to play Teemo: Tips and Tricks for League of Legends Season 14

Early Game:

• Top/Mid: Your main goal in the early game will be to constantly harass the enemy laner with Teemo’s Q and E. Poke their health down so that they have to base often and lose valuable CS and XP. However, against unfavorable match-ups, just look to stay relevant in farm. CS under the tower, and don’t go pushing up if your jungler is not around.
• Jungle: As a jungler start with the Red Buff. It will make it easier to clear the rest of the camps and only look to gank if you see that the enemy laner has pushed up the lane. Teemo doesn’t exactly have many CC tools at his disposal, and while W can help close the gap, it can be a tad bit difficult for him to get kills in the early game. Also, try to constantly be aware of the enemy jungle pathing.
• Support: Harass the enemy ADC as much as possible. However, don’t go looking for a fight if you are not sure of the enemy jungler’s position. In unfavorable match-ups play a bit passively, and kite around engage supports so that they won’t be able to all-in on you.

Mid Game:

• Top/Mid: As a solo laner, your strategy with Teemo will be to split-push and cover the map with his shrooms. Once he gets his hands on Liandry’s and Shadowflame, the Noxious Traps can chunk out the enemy carries if they step on it. Shroom placements can also keep you safe in lane. So be a bit more strategic about where you put them.
• Jungle: Always contest neutral objectives as soon as you start hitting your power spikes. Teemo’s objective set up around the Baron and Drake pit is amazing with his shrooms. So don’t be afraid to solo objectives and push your lead. Cross-map plays are also something you should look for, so go for the Grubs or Herald if you see the enemy jungler is on the bot side.
• Support: During the mid game, you can start to roam and make plays all over the map. Use your shrooms for vision control and help your jungler take down the neutral objectives. 

Late Game:

• AP: The later the game goes the more will Teemo shrooms hurt. So keep putting his Noxious Traps everywhere, especially in brushes and choke points. Objective control is also key, and you will want to completely fill the river up with your shrooms and force enemies to use their scanners to destroy them. This will give the rest of your team time to posture around the objective.
