The Season 14 rendition of the League of Legends Arena has brought a significant change to the game mode. From more opponents, to map changes, and the addition of Prismatics and new Augments, there is indeed a lot to unfold this time around.
The change brings a fresh new approach to the mode and it most definitely does not play out like the previous versions of LoL Arena. So you might just be struggling to win more matches right off the bat.
The mode now has more of a competitive edge. As you are going to face seven other teams of two in every match, you might just be looking for ways to win more games in League of Legends Arena.
Below are some tips and tricks that you can employ to have the edge in Season 14 Arena.
How to win more games in League of Legends Arena Season 14
We mentioned some good practices that you can try to help you get started with the new Arena:
1) Pick champions that synergize well together
As the Arena mode will put you in 2v2 situations across each round, it’s always important to select champions that complement each other. While individually some picks can be the best champions for League of Legends Arena, they may not be ideal in 2v2 situations.
So make sure you and your duo are selecting champs that synergize well and cover each other’s weaknesses.

2) Ban the OP picks
League of Legends Arena has some incredibly overpowered duos. So if you are not picking these champions yourself, it’s best to immediately ban them away.
Duos like Galio-Illaoi, Master Yi-Yuumi, and Singed-Garen are difficult to deal with in the game mode. These OP picks are very difficult to counter and your best bet against them is to just ban them as soon as a game begins.
3) Pick the right Prismatics and Augments
With the new Augments and Prismatic system you will be able to help your champions get more powerful as the match progresses. Additionally, the new systems will help you adapt to particular situations, especially if you are having a harder time taking down a particular duo.
Learning the right Prismatics and Auments for your champions will take some practice. So feel free to experiment around with your build and come up with counters to situations.

4) Stay close to your duo and don’t hesitate to revive them
During each round, the best tactic will always be to stick to your duo partner. This will help you focus all of your abilities on one enemy and not divert your DPS between the two.
Based on the duo you are going for, this will help you clutch out more rounds and keep your losses at a minimum. Sticking to your partner also makes sure that you will get to revive them as soon as they fall.
5) Don’t forget to collect the flowers
While you might want to immediately start each round with your hardest-hitting combos, you should wait it out and look around the map first. The League of Legends Arena stages have flowers that spawn, and when collected they will grant you additional HP and at times even a shield.
The extra sustain can be the deciding factor in a match, so make sure you are getting them before the enemy duo does.
