Pocket Pair’s monster-catching game has been a sensation with many Sony fans wondering if they will get Palworld on PS5 and PS4. The title is currently available on PC (via Steam and Microsoft store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
As the game is still in its early access, PlayStation fans have been rather hopeful that they will eventually get to try it out on their consoles. While Pocket Pair is yet to announce any official information on it, community speculations strongly suggest that Palworld is coming to PS5 and PS4.
Palworld release speculations on PS5 and PS4
As mentioned, there has been no official statement from Pocket Pair, about the game’s PS release. However, recent community interaction with PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida strongly suggests that Palword will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Yoshida had recently responded to a tweet from Palworld that talked about their record-breaking sales numbers. He had written “Congratulations” to the tweet, and in response, a fan asked him if he could help bring out a PS5 version of the game.
Yoshida further replied to this by saying a simple “Yes” and tagging Jingwen Zhu in it. PlayStations’s Jingwen Zhu is a part of the console’s Partner Development program. Hence, this simple reply from Yoshida sparked big community speculation that all but confirms Palworld’s release on the PS.
Although it’s available on Game Pass, Palworld sales have skyrocketed within the very first week of its Early Access release. So it won’t be surprising to feel that Sony might be looking to cash in on its popularity and community demand.
Hopefully, Palworld gets an official release on the PS by the time the Early Access ends and the full version of the game rolls out.
It’s important to keep in mind that Pocket Pair’s other game Craftopia has remained a PC and Xbox exclusive. So all community speculations should be taken with a grain of salt.
