Crafting items and other gear is one of the most important aspects of progression in Prospecting Roblox. The items that you make in this Roblox title come with a lot of stat bonuses, which will ultimately help you have a much easier time dealing with some of the hardest content that the game throws at you.

So if you are looking to make the most of the crafting system in Prospecting, along with all the item recipes that are currently available, then the guide below will help you out.

How to start crafting items in Prospecting Roblox

To be able to craft items in Prospecting Roblox, you will first need to locate an anvil in one of the towns that you are in. Once you find one, you will need to select one of the craftable items on the left and then click on the “View” option to select the minerals that you want to use to make the item.

Once you have selected the minerals, finalize by clicking on “Craft,” and you will be done making the item.

Quality of crafted items in Prospecting depends on Minerals used

The quality of the item that you make in Prospecting is directly tied to the type of minerals that you have used in the crafting process. Quality ranges from 1 to 5★, with the former denoting a stat boost of 50% while the latter providing 100% of the bonus.

If an item needs multiple crafting resources to make, then the quality of the resulting product will be the net average quality of all the materials. So if you are using heavy, low-rarity minerals for an item but are combining them with lighter, higher-grade materials, then it’s possible to get a resulting 5 item.

So you will want to mix and match the minerals that you have and aim for the 5 quality at all times by using the lowest amount of high-quality resources that possible.

1) Focus on Luck and Sell Boost

If you are looking to maximize your income, you will want to focus on making items with Luck and Sell Boost first. This can let you find rarer items, giving you a much-needed boost during the early-to-mid game point.

2) Upgrade smartly and mix in affordable heavy materials

Try not to upgrade or craft a new piece of gear if you are not seeing a significant improvement in how well you dig or sell stuff. Moreover, mix heavy low-rarity minerals with the lighter higher rarity ones to reach 5 on the resulting product. As the quality of the item will be an average of the quality of the materials used, you do not need to use all light, high-grade materials to reach 5.

3) Adapt your build for current dig sites

Keep adapting your build based on the dig sites that you are targeting. When making the build, look for specific drops, minerals, or challenges in the mining location. This will let you maximize your mineral farm, allowing you to have a much easier time crafting all the best items in the game.

Crafting and Reforging items in Prospecting

How to Reforge Items in Prospecting?

Reforging is the method by which you will be able to reroll the stat bonus of an item that you have. However, there is a fee involved, and it starts at base item price, but keeps increasing as you reforge the same item more and more.

As you have diminishing returns the more you reforge, it’s best to reroll the stats of a gear, just a couple of times, and be done with it, hoping that RnG is on your side.

How to equip Items in Prospecting?

To be able to equip your crafted item in Prospecting, you will need to make your way to the Prospector Kit menu and head over to the Equipment tab, which is on the top right. Once here, you will notice all the items that can be equipped on the left, and on the right, you will see all of your currently equipped items.

You will be able to hover all of these items and see the stat bonuses and effects that each of them comes with.
