The First Descendant Season 1 “Invasion” roadmap

The First Descendant is all set to move into its very first season on August 29, and the developers have already announced the roadmap that they’ll be following.

This season is set to introduce a brand-new Descendant, along with a plethora of new content for everyone to explore. So, here’s everything that you need to know about the new seasonal update for The First Descendant.

The First Descendant Season 1 “Invasion” update schedule

Nexon will release two updates during Season 1 for The First Descendant. The dates and what these updates will contain are as follows:

DateTypeContent
August 29Update 1– Invasion Dungeon
– New Descendant (Hailey)
– Inversion Reinforcement
– Season 1 Battle Pass
– Cosmetics (skins and emotes)
– New storyline
October 10Update 3– Ultimate Freyna
– Freyna questline
– New Modification Modules
– New Ultimate Modules
– Hard mode Infiltration
– New Ultimate Weapon
– Void Intercept Battle
– External Components
– Descendant exclusive spawns
– Cosmetics

Apart from this, the developers will most likely include more cosmetic content for players to enjoy in The First Descendant.

A new story line exploring Freyna’s origins will also be available, however, it’s currently unclear if it’ll be available at launch , or once the Ultimate variant is live. Unlike Bunny, her story line looks like it’s darker and will explain how she got her Toxic abilities.

Apart from these major updates, it’s likely that the new season will have smaller hotfixes too, like we’ve seen during the preseason. While the preseason has seen a slight dip in the player count over the past few weeks, players are expected to return once the new season arrives.

With a brand new story line on the cards, and a deadlier Vulgus threat looming on the horizon, the upcoming season in The First Descendant is showing promise, and might be the beginning of something wonderful.
