After a strong start to Season 1, The First Descendant is on its way for the Season 2. Just like the previous season, there’s a lot of content that’s set to come to the game.
From a brand new Ultimate Descendant to a new companion, there’s a lot of items that you can look forward to with the new season.
So, here’s everything that you need to know about The First Descendant Season 2.
The First Descendant Season 2 release date
Known as Void Chaser, The First Descendant Season 2 is set to release on December 5, 2024. Once the season goes live, Nexon will take the servers down for a short time before they come back again with the new season.
New storyline and activities
Just like the Season 1, Season 2 will also feature a brand new storyline including a boss, who you will eventually have to defeat as a part of the seasonal storyline.
It’s also worth noting that if you haven’t completed the main storyline in the base game, you’ll have to finish that first before you can access any of the seasonal content.
As for the activities, you will come across a brand new Dungeon in The First Descendant Season 2. This Dungeon is a part of the seasonal storyline too, and will feature one of the many new bosses that you will encounter in the storyline.
New Descendants in The First Descendant Season 2
In Season 2, The First Descendant will see the arrival of a brand new Descendant called Keelan, who is being dubbed as the best Void Hunter.
Based on the description provided, Keelan has the ability to use Erosive Corrosion and Speed, so it’s likely that he’ll have an Electric Affinity.
Apart from that, Nexon will also be adding the Ultimate variant for Sharen, one of the initial Descendants available in The First Descendant.
These features aside, the developers will also be adding a companion that will help you during your missions. This little companion, called “Fellow” will help you collect different ground loot.
