The First Descendant Tamer guide: How to get, best build, and more

The Tamer is a Rare Machine Gun that has garnered the reputation of being one of the most effective boss killers in The First Descendant. It excels at single-target DPS and can melt through any Void Intercept bosses in the shooter.

While the weapon is powerful, it can be hard to come by if you don’t know where to look for it. Not just that, without proper synergy with the Descendant that you’re using, you won’t be able make the most out of this weapon.

How to get the Tamer Machine Gun in The First Descendant

Tamer stats

As Tamer is a rare Machine Gun you will get it as a drop in the later stages of the game. You will need to progress further in the story and only if RNG favors you, you will be able to get it as a drop.

One of the best ways of getting the Tamer will be by completing the Order’s Occupied Facility mission in the White-night Gulch zone in the Observatory area. It’s one of the listed drops for the quest, and you might have to go through it multiple times before you can obtain the gun.
