How to play Hunters: Controls & keybinds
First things first, here’s a rundown of all the controls you’ll require to master in Roblox Hunters:
- Q – Dodge enemy attacks, and timing is key
- 1, 2, 3, 4 – These buttons on the keyboard are tied to your skills. Press the number ey to switch to that skill.
- Shift – Press this key to lock your camera perspective with your movement. This makes melee fights a lot more convenient.
- W – Double-tap this key to sprint.
- A, S, D – Movement. A takes you to the left, S takes you backward, D takes you to the right.

You get new skills and weapons through Rolling in Roblox Hunters. The process is identical to a gacha system that grants you random rewards.
The Hide Roll and Auto Roll features in the main lobby help initiate rolls automatically and add the dropped items to your inventory. There’s also a x100 Luck Roll feature, which is a more expensive gacha with better rewards and drop rates.

How to level up
Leveling up is as important as it gets in Hunters because you get stat points every time your level increases. These points can be spent on your character to make them more powerful.
The primary ways to earn EXP in Hunters include:
- Dungeons. Choose the one that you feel perfectly matches your level, implying that it’s the hardest one you can complete at your level.
- A regular dungeon grants x100 Base EXP
- A hard dungeon grants x300 Base EXP
- A nightmare dungeon grants x600 Base EXP
- Reawaken – As you level up, you’ll frequently get the option to rank up, also called Reawakening. Doing so increases your EXP boost from tasks, luck boost while rolling, and stat points gain upon leveling up.
- Playing with friends adds a slight EXP boost to everything you do in the game, including Dungeons. Things also get much easier when you’re playing in a team, so it’s best to play this experience with friends.
- Complete as many quests as you can for amazing rewards, including EXP. The Quest NPC in the lobby hands out quests to you, and they generally require you to roll, complete dungeons, and level up. Also, make sure to check out dailies, as they grant decent loot.
- AFK Rolling is also a great way to level up without much effort. If you’re caught up in something else, you can leave Hunters open on your system and activate auto-rolling.
Hunters stats explained
Your character in Hunters boasts the following stats:
- VIT (Vitality) – Increases maximum HP.
- Perception (PER) – Increases critical strike chance and damage.
- Intelligence (INT) – Increases damage with staffs.
- Agility (AGI) – Increases damage from daggers.
- Strength (STR) – Increases damage from Swords and Greatswords.

Dungeons explained
The ‘Play’ button on the right side of the screen or the Dungeon zone in the main lobby lets you access Dungeons, which are exactly what they sound like. There’s a fixed number and type of enemies you’ll have to face, and there’s a boss fight at the end.
You cannot edit your skills, stats, or weapons after entering a dungeon, so build your character properly.
To be fair, every dungeon in the game includes a new challenge but general tips like gathering smaller opponents and dealing collective damage with your skills work in most scenarios.
Similarly, bosses stand out because they can paralyze your movement. So, a defensive approach that relies on avoiding most of their combos first and then attacking in a short window is usually effective.
Do note that every player has three lives in a Dungeon, and losing them means the end of your attempt.
Weapons, crafting, and inventory management in Roblox Hunters
There are four types of weapons in Hunters, and each weapon type comes with a unique set of skills that can only be activated when you’re using the correct corresponding weapon.
Swords, daggers, greatswords, and staffs are the four weapon types currently available. The primary difference among them lies in the range, attack speed, and damage range.
As usual, greatswords and swords boast high damage but low attack speed. Staffs and daggers are quicker but don’t deal as much damage. It’s best to experiment a little with all of them and then master the weapon type that best suits your playstyle.
All your skills, weapons, and armor appear in your inventory and a basic rule is to always match your skills with the weapons. After a point, your inventory will also start running out of space and to combat this, you can activate auto-sell for some of the lower rarity items useless to you.
