Modifiers will help you have a smoother sailing when you eventually reach the later stages in Voyagers. However, getting modifiers in the Roblox title is not as straightforward as one makes it out to be.
There are two ways of getting a Modifier on your Voyager: the first one is to temporarily purchase one with Gold before every run, and the alternate but better method is to unlock one permanently.

How to obtain all Modifiers in Voyagers
Here is a list of all the Modifiers that are currently available in Voyagers, their effects, and how you will be able to unlock them:

| Hardcore | Zombies deal 2x damage and have 1.5x HP. | Obtained after getting the “Warrior” Badge. To get the badge, you will need to kill 100 Zombies in a single run. Once done, you will gain the badge, the modifier, along with the Warrior Sail. |
| Endless Storm | A Storm will constantly be raging during your run. | Obtained through the “How could this happen?” badge. To get the badge, you will need to get struck by lightning after riding into the storm. So wait for a storm to pass by and hope that you get struck. |
| Friendly Fire | Allows you to deal damage to other players.. | Friendly Fire is obtained through the “Davy Jones’ Locker” badge. You get the badge when you die at sea by drowning. |
| Trade Savvy | You will earn 1.5 times more gold and the Merchant will appear 2times more often. | Obtained through the “Wolf of the Seas” badge. To get the badge, you will need to earn a total of 500 Silver during a single run. |
Once you have met the requirements and obtained the badges, you will permanently unlock the modifiers that are attached to them.
Once you’ve earned all the badges mentioned above, an “Unlocked” stripe will appear over the modifiers, and you’ll no longer have to purchase them for gold.
