After entertaining countless fans with their Hermitcraft-themed Minecraft content for years, Iskall85 and Stressmonster have resigned from the game’s server.
Yesterday, Hermitcraft announced on X that several members raised complaints about Iskall85 which were found credible upon review. When asked for a response, the creator decided to leave the server altogether.
Stressmonster, a member of the server who’s known for her close ties to Iskall85, has resigned as well.
The fans are naturally shocked to see two of the most popular Hermitcraft members leave the server suddenly. They’ve been removed from the group’s website and the remaining members have deleted their podcasts with Iskall85.
Iskall has also been removed from thumbnails on YouTube videos uploaded by Hermitcraft and Groans, simply adding to his fans’ anxiety around the situation.
While the official announcement didn’t reveal anything that led to these developments, fans haven’t refrained from coming up with their theories.
The only credible detail about the incident came from prominent creator Mumbo Jumbo. While replying to a user, he clarified that no minors were involved in the complaints against Iskall85. However, the truth behind his unexpected exit from the group is yet to be revealed.
Many are judging the severity of the situation by the fact that Hermitcraft members have been very quick to disassociate their content from Iskall85. Mumbo Jumbo himself has removed the merchandise he had with Iskall85.
It is worth noting that Iskall85 also runs the Vault Hunter SMP. A few hours ago, two major members of the server, tangofrags, and chosen architect, decided to leave Vault Hunter due to moral conflicts with the leadership.
Amidst the inevitable drama, fans await a response from Stressmonster and Iskall85 too. On the flip side, others expect the community to give the creators and server members privacy and space in such a turbulent time.
